I had a brand new tea kettle within a week. Gkad they had a replacement. I use this daily and love it. It heats up so fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle is great. It's quiet and doesn't beep too much or too loudly. I had the old version of this kettle and this one is much better. I swear it heats up faster although I didn't actually time it. It also has a softer touch when you set it down on the base. I love being able to set the temperature lower for my tea; particularly for green tea.

Great kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this kettle before and recently received a new one due to the recall. I have to say they made some improvements. Not it's not beeping when you put it on the base, and the sound when it's done boiling is much quieter now.

Great Kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have become a bit of a tea snob. I love my coffee but tea has many complex flavors. I would just wait for my kettle to whistle then steep my tea. By controlling the temp of the water the tea really does taste different when dealing with tea blends like those from August Uncommon. I purchased my KitchenAid electric from them as I have trusted the KitchenAid brand since my Grandmothers hand mixer back in the 60's. It was the only kitchen gadget she owned.

The perfect cup of tea

I bought two of these one for me and one for my best friend as a Christmas gift. Mine works great but unfortunately the one that I gave to my best friend was defective, it did not work at all.

I really loved this kettle and all its functions. However, the lid stopped working after one year (right after its warranty is expired), the handle fall off in two years. It is really sad, as I love the brand, the design, the kettle doesn't have any plastic smell, and it looks cool together with all my other empire red Kitchenaid appliances — mixer, blender, coffee maker and coffee grinder. Kitchenaid, please improve the assembling quality!

Great kettle with a very short life.

Kitchen Aid

I loved this kettle when I first bought it. It heated water quickly, had automatic shutoff, and basically did everything I wanted. In under a year my first one stopped working. I contacted customer support and they got me a replacement and within 2 weeks that also stopped working. Im very disappointed because I loved this kettle. I must say that customer support was fantastic and worked hard to satisfy me.
