Kotex Natural Balance* Lightdays® Liners, Long 2.5x is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 198.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Aloe, really? This was a great product, I used them for years. They are very comfortable, good length, and good adhesion. Unfortunately, for whatever reason they have added aloe. Since I am allergic to aloe it is time to find a new brand. I am sorry someone sees a need to add aloe to so many formally excellent products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 25 year customer no longer When did you decide grown women were shaped like 12 year old girls? The narrow coverage has caused me to throw out too many pairs of underwear. Having to try to get stains out every month got old. And I agree with other posters about the adhesive being too sticky and all over underwear. And the longs aren't that long anymore either. Done!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the old is not always bad I used Kotex lightdays long for years. I very rarely had any problem of any kind with them. When I recently could not get them I purchased the "new, improved" U by Kotex lightdays. BIG PROBLEM!!!! Almost every one I have used has been a problem. The glue is so strong I have had to scratch at the sides to be able to remove it. I also found that the absorbent material peels away from the liner very easily. I am very disappointed and will no longer be a Kotex customer if this is their idea of a quality product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!!! In the world of Kimberly Clark, my Kotex purchases are probably only pennies in the company's bottom line. This review is for all you ladies out there before you waste your money on the new U by Kotex line. I have been a LOYAL customer of Kotex liners for more than 15 years. 15 YEARS! I shipped boxes of these liners even when I lived in Europe from London to Italy. Why? Because it delivers what it promises. The weaving in the old design or pattern on the cotton side stays put. Other brand of liners bunch up and that can be an uncomfortable situation. The old liners can last through an hour of kickboxing class or a 5K. No problem in peeling it off either. The adhesive completely peels off leaving no residue in undergarments and it's all in one piece. Kotex's website says we should say "hello" to the new line of U by Kotex and that they always make improvements in their products. My response is, I am saying goodbye. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Whoever had the idea of changing the pattern on the liner probably didn't test the liners with women who actually use the product. Here's why you should NOT buy these new liners: 1. The new pattern TEARS APART! Who wants to find this mess especially if you are going to an important meeting? When you try to pull it, the cotton or liner side SEPARATES from the adhesive side. Leaving you again with a mess! The adhesive side then becomes so difficult to remove leaving residue in your delicate undergarments. Just when did removing a liner became so time consuming and most of all IRRITATING! 2. The new pattern is not as flexible. It doesn't move with you. Have fun with a wedgie. 3. The new design is not absorbent. It's so frustrating that I threw away six boxes of these liners. That's how BAD it is!! This new line doesn't even deserve one star, but the review system forces you to choose an overall rating. Frustrating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why did you change a good thing? I've been using these liners for about 10 years and never had a complaint. Now I'm thinking of switching because they are just not the same. The adhesive is too good and they often are impossible to remove without leaving sticky bits all over my underwear which doesn't always come off in the wash. The liner seems to melt from my body heat after wearing them for a couple of hours and they rip into shreds when I remove them. The addition of the aloe wasn't really necessary. I never found the old product, without the aloe, bothered my skin. In this case change was not a good thing

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lightday longs I have used these panty liners for years, but I am very disappointed with the recent changes. I much prefer the cotton feel of the previous version. The new version is more artificial feeling, and the padded part of the liner separates from the sticky portion when removing it from my underwear. Not just occasionally, but every time. Then I have to wrestle the sticky part off. I will be looking for a new panty liner when I finish the current box. Sad to such a great product decline in quality. I would be willing to pay more for the previous version, but not really interested in sticking with this new one.
