The scent is rich and slightly sweet - it actually strikes a nice balance that feels more clean than sugary.  It lathers well, so I don't need to use a lot, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh without that dry, tight feeling some body washes can cause.  I've noticed the scent sticks around just enough to be noticeable but not overwhelming, which I appreciate, especially for everyday use.

Great product with great fragrance not the best for hydrating the skin but it is very pleasant on the shower gel I am more on the classics from Axe like phoenix or Apollo but in the end this one has a great warm parfume and leaves a good feeling on the sking after the shower I will rebuy it again for sure

Simply Love It

My husband loves this product! He doesn't care to wear aftershave or cologne so this body wash is perfect as it has an incredible scent that lasts for hours! Friends will ask him what cologne he's wearing when they hug him, as it is not overpowering and doesn't enter the room before him, but has a warm and exotic scent.

I've used this Fragrant shower gel ever since Axe introduced it sometime in the mid to late 2000's and I'm a female. I love the blend of chocolate/sweet/spicy and I think ladies can use this with confidence of not smelling like a guy.  It lathers nicely and the scent isn't overly strong but paired with the body spray it gives a lovely, lasting fragrance without being overpowering.

Yummy and lasting fragrance

Long lasting scent, doesn't irritate skin, rinses off well, pairs well with corresponding body spray.  (other brands can have subtle differences between their body wash and body spray scents, which doesn't always smell right. AXE products don't seem to have that problem.)
***As a female, most female targeted scents don't work well with my body chemistry.   AXE products seems to work better for me.   I get a lot of compliments when I use them.   I like the larger size, it means I won't run out fast.  The easy pump handle is great for people with dexterity problems.

Great smell, value, and easy on the skin.

Axe dark temptation body wash provides a rich foamy lather that moisturizes the body, and makes you feel refreshed. 
The smell is a nice chocolately spice.

Great body wash

Axe has always had a great selection of scents,.  This however is possibly my favorite!  It Smells fantastic, and leaves you feeling clean!  Lathers up really great too!

Love The Scent

It's my first time using this body wash. I love the mild fragrance so it's not overwhelming. It lathers sufficiently and leaves a moist, slightly oily,  feeling on my skin. I might update my review after a few more weeks of use. 
No regrets so far.

Love it so far

I would not again.  I did not like the smell of product as it was very potent in chocolate, making me crave chocolate.  This is not a suitable product for diabetics.

Axe Dark Chocolate Review

This Axe body wash seemed like it would be an interesting body wash to try. I was a little hesitant to buy one that says it smells like chocolate but bought it anyway. So, no. The scent is nice, but not for a body wash. Good try, but better luck next time.
