First time trying this cheese as it was recommend to put in French Onion Soup I was making to freeze  and eat later in month or so. It's reallllly nice cheese. Happy I tried it.

[Employee of walmartcanada] A surprise purchase, it was a substitute for another type of Swiss cheese. Now it is a favourite, lovely flavour, substantial size, will definitely purchase again.

New Favourite

My son has always been a huge fan of cheese but we usually buy the cheddar ones for him. Since this Swiss cheese was available to try, we wanted to see if this is something he'd enjoy. He absolutely loved it. It was so incredibly tastey and creamy just the way swizss cheese should be. Only thing is the cheese was not good individually wrapped but I guess it's better for the environment. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Swiss is my favourite cheese, so I was excited to try this product when I saw it in-store. While it doesn't taste exactly like Swiss cheese (like cheddar processed cheese slices don't exactly taste like block cheddar), these slices are quite tasty. I like them best melted (so smooth and creamy!!)  in sandwiches whereas my wife like them best unmelted… so a win either way for our family.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

A Smooth and Cream cheese slice

I tried Kraft Extra Swiss cheese slices on a hamburger and it was very good.  I would definitely purchase again.  The slices are not individually wrapped but they still are easy to separate.  If anything for my personal preference it would be an even higher swiss taste.  The slices are also nice and thick!!  And I loved that!! I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Kraft Extra Swiss Cheese

I purchased this product, having already used the Kraft Cheddar Cheese slices for many many  years. I was expecting the same quality and this did not disappoint. 

The Kraft Extra Swiss came in a colourful packaging that clearing spelled out EXTRA SWISS and a picture of a burger with the cheese slices on the top and bottom of the burger. The packaging clearly said that the Extra had 1.6x more swiss cheese in it then the regular Swiss Cheese slices and there were no artificial flavours or colours. It also showed there were 14 thick slices in the package. I found the packaging bright and stood out from the other Kraft packaging. 
We have tried them on burgers and they added a nice flavour to the burgers but like Swiss cheese there wasn't a strong flavour at all, very mild. I also tried a piece just by itself. Tasty and mild, not too overpowering at all. 
 
The one thing I was surprised about was that they were not individually wrapped but were all together in a sliced slab, which was fine with me, not having extra packaging but it was not what I was expecting. 

Overall the taste was very nice and smooth and I would recommend it. At the price point, I'm not sure how often I would buy it but it was definitely a nice change from the regular Kraft cheese slices.

Tasty Cheese Slices

I tried these new Kraft Swiss Cheese slices and I am glad that I did.  For some reason the flavour reminds me of a similar cheese that I tried in Austria but I suppose that makes sense because its neighbour is Switzerland.  It tastes smooth, silky and although it doesn't have the same flavour as a hard block of Swiss cheese it does resemble it.

I don't like that it is hard to separate the slices from each other.  That is just a minor nuisance because the flavour makes up for that.  If you like Swiss cheese you should try it. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Memories

I LOOOOOVE Kraft Extra Cheese CHEDDAR Slices. Been enjoying them since childhood. Hands down BEST grilled cheese EVER!! So I was beyond excited to try the Swiss. Slightly disappointed. Although they are great thickness, they don't taste "Swiss", more like a very mild white cheddar or even mozzarella. They'll def get eaten. I'm sure they'll be great for grilled cheese but they're a bit too bland for my liking.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Mediocre unfortunately

These Kraft Extra Swiss cheese slices are supposed to have 1.6% more swiss than their regular swiss slices and has no artificial flavours or colours.
Our family tried these slices but were disappointed as it does not taste like swiss whatsoever.  The taste isn't bad, it's just not swiss. In fact, it tastes similar to the white cheddar powder in the mac and cheese. 
If you are looking for a swiss cheese, you'll be let down if you get these.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.
