Used for postpartum pain and to aid in healing. Wonderful product, just be sure to read the directions and freeze them properly. 

I didn't read the directions at first and just set them in the freezer as is- parts of it froze too much and some parts not at all. I was able to use them still once I readjusted the already frozen gel. 

I did better with my second purchase as I adjusted the gel before freezing and they work like a charm! 

Additional tip: I added witch hazel to them to aid in the healing which worked well with the gel. Also helps with the postpartum healing if you did not know. I also sprayed Dermoplast; a postpartum spray that relieves pain, burning and itching.

This is my fifth baby, and let me just say—I wish these padsicles had existed with my first.

By now, I know what to expect postpartum with all the soreness, swelling, and so on. this time instead of making DIY padsicles, I have loved using already made lansinoh padsicles and they were honestly a lifesaver.

I can say these are one of those little comforts that make a big difference with less for a new mama to worry about and stress over. This would also make a great baby shower gift for any first-time mom.

So worth it!

Great product for after gynecological surgery.

Not just for postpartum

I wish they had this when I had my first 2! The way the coolness of the pads just help postpartum recovery is AMAZING. At first I had to use little witch hazel wipes, and it was a pain, then after I got these, I felt so much better!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using these padsicles the day I got home from the hospital after giving birth. I preferred them over the hospital-issued ice packs because they are much smaller and less bulky and far more comfortable. 

I really liked that you could place them in the fridge or the freezer. I mostly chose to use them frozen, though just a warning that they sometimes can almost be TOO cold that way. I went through about 3  a day or so, depending on how I was feeling.  They provided immediate relief from achiness and I'm convinced helped with my recovery.

Essential for postpartum recovery

These padsicles are the best!! I love them wayyy more than the hospital ones. They weren't heavy. I love that they are infused with healing/soothing herbals. You don't have to have all the extra stuff during the healing process! I liked to put them in the freezer for a few hours then apply to regular pad.

These pads were very convenient and simple to use postpartum. They are ready to go so all you have to do is stick them in the freezer and they are ready to use. The pads did relieve some of the burning and discomfort felt after giving birth. I preferred to use them in the fridge instead of the freezer as they got too cold for me - so if you have a bad tear or are super sensitive the fridge might work best for you. I did find that they did melt fairly quickly and would feel watery resulting in needing to change pads often. I used these on top of my pad and it wasn't overly bulky which was nice. Overall they did provide temporary relief and were convenient to just keep in the fridge and i did prefer them to the ones they give you in the hospital - those are too bulky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles to try and review as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I just gave birth to my 3rd child.. a healthy baby boy! I delivered him vaginally along with his two older sisters. Prepping for his birth I gathered the supplies I like to have on hand and ready for postpartum recovery. After my first two deliveries I had ready: pads, witch hazel prepped pads, peri-bottle and perineal ice packs. I was excited to receive and try Lansioh's Postpartum Padsicles as an alternative to the perineal ice packs I have used in the past. The Lansioh Padsicles need to be placed in your freezer prior to use. They are very thin which I found to be very comfortable and less bulky. The cooling effect and relief provided felt really nice. Like other ice packs I have used it doesn't last very long, probably 10-15 minutes. Overall I liked the slimness of the product. The cooling effect was very comfortable. Cons for me were the fact that I had to retrieve the product out of the freezer prior to use and the length of cooling relief I experienced.

Lansinoh Postpartum Padsicles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received postpartum padsicles from Stellar Product Testing Panel and while I really wanted to love these padsicles, I am disappointed. Being 1 month postpartum, I was very excited about a product to help me heal without having to use 4 different products. Unfortunately, this product missed the mark. The idea/concept is great but I think it could use some major improvements and sadly, I found this product almost unusable. 

Ideally, this would replace the bulky ice pack, witch Hazel pads, and other healing products, and be a one product/superior solution. Unfortunately, my sole complaint is that the padsicles are way too cold. After flattening them and freezing them, I placed them on my adult diaper or pad and found them to be so incredibly cold (literally ice) that I couldn't keep it on my skin until it melted, which at that point, defeated their purpose. I tried putting some padsicles in the fridge instead to avoid the ice feeling but the cold gel pad warmed up very quickly and didn't provide much relief. 

I think this product has the makings of being a great solution for women but sadly, it's just not there yet!
