Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute Kitchen Great Deal I ordered this kitchen online from Wal-Mart after seeing it for 225.00 at a high end toy store and gave it to my daughter for her 2nd birthday. It was easy to assemble (with 2 adults) and my daughter loves it. She has friends over and some of them are rough on toys, but this one is really holding up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Santa brought the kitchen for our two girls (almost 3 and 18 months) for Christmas. So far it seems like a permanant babysitter. We have to peel the girls away from the kitchen almost everyday. It has already been moved from 3 different rooms and seems just as sturdy as when put together. It is heavy enough that it won't topple over on the girls, yet managable enough to be picked up and moved as needed. My husband was surprised at how easily it went together, but did have a few screws that seemed a bit too long and raised the particle board in one spot. There was also one scratch on the outer surface, but the girls have not even noticed. Overall, we were very please with the assembly process. There is so much storage space! I was afraid the two diaper boxes we had been using for food and dish storage would barely fit in this kitchen. To my amazement, there is still so much space for more. I did buy some cheap plastic baskets to help with organization though. I especially love that they can both stand at the kitchen without fighting for elbow space. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and glad to have waited out all the plastic ones and paid a little extra for the quality piece that should last for many years to come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great play kitchen I shopped around for a play kitchen for my 3 year old daughter and after reading many reviews I purhcased this one from Walmart. I am very happy with my purchase. The kitchen does take about 2 hours to put together but everything is color coded (even the screws) and the directions were perfect! The kitchen is very well made, very sturdy and offers plenty of storage. The best part is there are no stickers, everything is painted on the wood. This is the kitchen you want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Cute, Great Value This kitchen is very sturdy, well made and should last my 2 year old for many years. It took quite a while though for my husband and I to assemble it. We started putting it together Christmas Eve after our daughter went to bed. Big mistake! It took a little over 3 hours. There are lots of parts and the packet containing all of the hardware was damaged in shipment so all of the bolts, screws, etc. spilled out and were all over the place. Five very tiny screws we never found and had to obtain more. Also, the pre-drilled holes on the microwave door were drilled into the wrong side, so we haven't yet put the closing mechanism on that door so it doesn't snap shut. Right now though, our daughter hasn't even noticed because she plays with the lower cabinets and the fridge and stove. Even with those minor issues, I still rate this product at 5 stars. It seems a good value as well when compared to some other similar products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with purchase! First off... I would buy it again and I would recommend it. This is a really cute play kitchen and my daughter loves it and plays with it daily. The only thing I wish I had known before getting it is that the manufacturer has the same piece in really bright fun colors too. But I don't think Wal-Mart carries it. Anyhow here is my take on this product: Just following the instructions. It is a piece of boxed furniture and will take some time. It took us about 1 1/2 hrs to put together. Also it is HEAVY. It will take 2 people to move. It is a toy, but it is also a large, heavy piece of furniture. Still it is not indestructible. I read a bad review saying the doors ripped off of the hinges. It's a piece of particle board boxed furniture and ANY piece of furniture... even solid wood has its limits. Kids test limits to learn. I saw my daughter hanging on a door and later leaning against an open one. I simply explained (to my 3yr old) that if she leans or hangs on the doors they will break. She likes it, doesn't want it to break, and now doesn't lean or hang on the doors. Play with your child the first time they use it and show them the limits. WOW a review with parenting advice... it's my day off. :)
