Sliding issue due to weak magnet holding capacity.

Letters slide in with minimal resistance.

Have given this gift many times and loved by child and parents. It even has the kids dancing. Many options for them to pick from, and to just have the alphabet  to connect like a puzzle and then to hear the letter they picked is happiness for the child. It's a big magnet for the refrigerator so the kids can play while  you're working in the kitchen. Small so it can travel but ours is a kitchen helper.

My twins like this a lot, taught them the ABC song, they are learning the alphabet and it's safe for small children. The sounds of them singing are so cute, I recommend buying it.

a learning toy that is fun 😊

i have worked with young children with disabilities for years, and this toy is 1 that i have bought multiple times.  it teaches so many skills and the children love it.  i have 5 of them myself (for the kids, i  worked with, and 1 for my son).  my child knew phonics by the age of 2 because of this toy!
this has assisted my children that i worked with that had developmental disabilities.   they loved it and learned how to make sounds. we were teaching them for speech acquisition.   i would recommend it to anyone with a small child and anyone with a non-verbal or partially verbal child.

My granddaughter s love d it so I got my grandson one too who is 17 months worked it with out issue.  My daughter in law and son love how it keeps him busy while they are preparing meals in kitchen! Great educational product

Leap frog fridge phonics

This is my 3rd purchase of a fridge phonics toy in 13 years.  I bought for my oldest two children, and then most recently 1 for my youngest child. I love the concept and design, but have noticed the quality has gone done over the years. This last one I bought slides down the fridge (magnet doesn't seem strong enough). The letters are also more flimsy and smaller.

Great toy, just not as good as it used to be!

My toddlers love playing with this. We use it on their magnetic easel in their play room or on our fridge. There are two sound levels for those who are sensitive to noise the lower level isn't too loud. My toddlers also like to play with it with the sounds off.  It's a fun way to learn letters and letter sounds. My toddlers can play independently with it. We also make guessing games out of it. We like to rotate toys and use these in two different rooms. I wish it came with a container to store it when not in use it to minimize the amount of letters out.

Fun learning toy

Very educational for young kids to have on the fridge to help learn their ABCs. Only complaint is the magnet on some of them are not that strong and they slide off of the fridge other than that great product.

This Pad is designed and advertised to be on the household refrigerator, which is a great location since Mom spends a LOT of time in the kitchen.  However, the magnet inside this LeapFrog Pad is not strong enough to hold it in place.  It keeps sliding down the refrigerator door.  We all have to keep putting it up higher on the front of the frig where the kids are comfortable (and prefer) using it.  I would not recommend this item until the magnet is made to do what it is supposed it.  I've given thought to putting it all into a basket, but that is not why I purchased this.  I wanted it to be where it was (supposedly) designed to be used.

The magnet does not hold it in place on the refrig

This toy is not at all up to the LeapFrog standards we have come to expect.
It will not stay on the fridge - it won't even stick to a cast iron safe. It just slides down. We have the old style and they stick really well. The letters on the new ones are much smaller too.  Our granddaughter loves it but it will have to be a playpen toy it won't work on the fridge.  I am going to blame this on Vtech taking over.

Extremely disappointed.
