Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Set! I received a Lego Store GC as a late Christmas present, and I used it to purchase this set and the SpiderCycle Chase set. I have to say I am not disappointed at all. On to the review: MINIFIGS: You get three awesome and exclusive figures in this set: Arctic Batman-I love the repaint. The grey and white accents are top notch, and look realistic. I love the white cowl, and the extremely rare white cape. He has a double sided head(scowl and determined) and printing on both sides of the torso. Also comes with two Batarangs(I wish they made them white lol) Aquaman-I know some have railed against this figure, but I for one did not. Don't tell me when you think of the JLA, or iconic DC Superheroes, that Aquaman isn't in the top ten, or even top five. I think it's a perfect set to include him in, as it's water based. This minifig is amazing. He has printing on both sides of the torso, a double-sided head(determined and angry), and a unique trident accessory. Mr. Freeze-A really neat looking villain, he is menacing and evil. HIs face is maniacal looking, I love the suit that goes over the torso and head, and the built weapon looks great. He has printing on both sides of the torso as well. FEATURES: The little Ice platform that Aquaman is sealed in is pretty neat, and has a lot of rare parts. I like the way they set it up to blow open with an easy push feature. The Batboat is far larger than I expected it to be, and is really well built. I love the way that Lego is using new build technqiues and smooth(SNOT-Studs Not On Top) pieces to give the new sets a sleek and realistic look. The cockpit is large and holds Batman very well(even with the cape on if you desire). The window opens up, the rear engine(with flame-nice touch) spins, there are small depth charges that you can push off for detonation, and they use a nice technic build(with RUBBER pieces of all things! Nice!) to create two discus launchers(which really fire out pretty strongly when launched-be careful around younger children please). The vehicle is superb. BUILD: There were three unnumbered bags in the set, one large and two small. There was a small instruction booklet and small comic book included. The build took me approximately 15 minutes at full speed. VALUE: Again, I think the best value are these smaller $20 price point sets. You get three exceptional and exclusive minifigs, a large and awesome vehicle, and a neat small platform for very little. The play value is also great, as the boat is very sturdy and swooshable, and the break apart ice just adds to the fun. In conclusion, I really enjoyed building and displaying this set. It is worth every penny. Buy it now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! I was a bit hesitant to get this set party cause of aquaman, but i finaly picked it up and am not disappointed!i"ll start with the batboat, the size is very good its a lot bigger then it looks, its has a nice cab with good detail but i dont want to wreak batmans cape so i often dont put him in there, the bombs at the back are okay, nothing special you just kinda push them of with your hand, the missile things are amazing!!there nothing close to flick missiles there like push missiles, you just push the button thing a bit and the pie missiles fly out super fast!not much effort is required in getting them of!the ice block is cool to,there is a button thing that if you push it the ice breaks open, it is a bit breakable but its still a nice feature!the minifigs are great!!Batman is always epic but in white printing is just insanely cool!!Mr.Freez is pretty cool as well, i like his gun and ahs a good torso printing,he is a must have for batman collectors!!and lastly aquaman, most people are not a big fan of him and neither am i,but lego did a good job on him, good body printing and a good hairpiece, but he kinda looks to young for aqauman, overall great set!!lego really outdid thenselves on this one with a GREAT pricepoint and great missiles!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Set! This set is really cool. I really liked the shape of the Batboat, because it looks like it has a grey body with outer shells of black and yellow. The disc shooter is really cool, and you can get it to shoot the discs (at tops,) about 5-6'. Characters: Mr. Freeze is really accurate, and has cool printing on both sides of his torso, even though you cant see it much with his big helmet on. Arctic Batman is sort of weird. His suit almost reminds me of something a lady super would be wearing because it's white. It's not THAT bad, but I almost think LEGO should have stuck with the other Batman outfits. I really like his white cape, though. Aquaman is really cool. I love the texture of his torso, and the cool belt printed onto it. Actually, one of the things that made me want this set was his hairpiece. It's awesome! Overall, this set is a pretty good buy. The Batboat seems bigger in real life than it does in the pictures of the product. It's a good set for the money, and it comes with characters that cannot be found in any other DC Universe Superheroes sets. (Well, at the moment anyway...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking to buy a good set? Choose this! As a Lego Fan, Builder, and Batman fanatic, I would say that this set is one of the best Batman sets out there. This set comes with Aquaman, an updated Mr. Freeze, and an Arctic Batman, some minifigures that may never be released again and a must have. This set also features a Batboat that is very unique and creative. Finally, if anyone out there imagines a character of theres being frozen without the two ice bricks, then they are missing out on a cool way to capture their minifigures. Overall, this set is fantastic and a set that I recommend you go buy right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Set Ever This set is amazing. It is a great buy with a good price to piece count, with 198 pieces for 20 dollars. In this set you get 3 new and exclusive characters. Let's start with Arctic Batman. I love his new white and grey color scheme. However his double sided face is still the same as before (not that I feel any problems with that). Altogether a nice addition to this set. There is also a new Mr. Freeze minifigure in this set. He has a new white face, along with a Lego Atlantis diver's mask to protect his head. Mr. Freeze has some cool front and back printing along with a new freeze gun. I liked him, but I liked the old Mr. Freeze's gun a bit better. You also get a completely new Aquaman. He has yellow hair that I believe was used on Ron Weasley (although I'm not fully sure). He has an orange torso with green hands and green legs. He has a double sided face. His trident can also be found in some Atlantis sets. Now to the set itself. In this set you get the Batboat and a block of ice on a pedestal to place Aquaman inside. The ice is simple enough, with a beam to push that breaks open the ice. The Batboat Is quite well-designed and comes in a nice black and yellow color scheme. It has two newly designed projectiles. They aren't flick fire missiles, but are instead disks that shoot out when you press an axle beam. There is also a place to put both of the batarangs which you get in this set. The design is very sturdy. All in all, I would like to give this set a five out of five. It has a good selection of minifigs, a nice price to piece count, and a good vehicle. This a good 20 minute's worth of work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FREEZE!!! I'm not a big Batman fan but when I saw that white Batman it just felt like it was calling to me... okay, maybe not. I just like the white cowl and that white cape. Epic! Aquaman and Mr. Freeze are pretty cool too---and that Batboat! Now, to the review: Characters - Arctic Batman: As I already stated, the Arctic Batman is my favorite figure in this set. He has a light stone grey suit with a white w. grey bat symbol on the chest. Also, as with the other Bat suits, his abs are printed clearly on the torso and give the feeling of muscles. His legs are void of printing and consist of two light stone grey leg pieces being held together by a white leg hinge. His hands, cowl, and cape are also all white. I think the white on white of the mask and his eyes looks a little disproportioned but still looks sweet! The batarangs are just plain, boring black. They would look awesome if they were white! Aquaman: This is a cool figure, though slightly too bright in colors. He has bright yellow hair (I think it should have been a little lighter, but that might just be me), and orange torso, and plain green legs. The torso and face are the only detailed parts of this figure. The torso consists of a muscular scale-like suit with a yellow belt around his abdomen. His hands are also green, like the legs. He holds a gold Atlantis' trident in his hand, but you have to take it out of his hands when he gets frozen. Mr. Freeze: He is probably one of the coolest LEGO DC Batman super villains yet released. His easy to build yet complex gun plays a good part, except for the round brick sticking out the side that always falls off. He has an Atlantis' divers' helmet with a translucent blue mask that covers his angry, white face. He has detailed printing on his torso and grey blue legs devoid of printing or detail. Ice Prison - This isn't too impressive and won't take long to describe. It has translucent blue rock walls (Oh, yeah!), with a base that supports a minifigure easily. It also has a feature that you can flick a lever and the ice splits in half and releases the prisoner. Sadly, most weapons aren't able to fit inside because of the tight between the two ice walls. Batboat - The Batboat is designed like many of the other Batman vehicles and fits in nicely with a collection of the Batmobile, the Batcycle, and the Batplane. Also, the new Dark Knight Rises "Bat" is a nice addition. The discus launcher is a great feature and I'm hoping to see it on many new 2012 sets! Overall, this is a great set! If you are a Batman fan this is a must get!
