Purchased for donating to local ChristmasToy Drive! This is a great set for all ages! My grandson 7yrs old has this set and he loves it and so does his older sisters (9 %26 11). Keeps them busy for hours. Day after day!😀....this set is really great for kids that want to create, play with their creation, then pull it apart and make something new....lego brand is the best brand that i have tried....They stay together much better for kids while playing with what they make!

I bought this toy for my boyfriend's son and he told me I was the best. I just thought I was buying just a regular  ol toy for the kids to play with but I mean I took as a great gesture for him to say. He's 4 so of course he loves toys. 😁

Our grandson is 28 months. He loves the Legos. This is the second set that we have bought him. The first set was large pieces. There was a bit of concern about choking hazard, but the little guy is very smart. We told him to never put them in his mouth, and so far has never done so. And he is supervised at all times while playing with them, but he's never put one in his mouth. This is a great toy for making smart children. We think he's highly advanced. But doesn't every grand parent think so? Ha ha.

Dexterity and thinking.

After defrosting my stand up freezer I needed to relax so I built everything the book and online instructions had. Just a few pieces left over. The only complaint would be with how Lego has the container. The little pieces get stuck in the bottom of the container where they are half circles. Had fun putting them together. I did receive the flower Lego set for Christmas, it's amazing and highly recommend that set too.

Great set

I got this for a little boy coming to the USA to be with his mom after 3 years. He eyes lit up when I showed the box to him while we waited for our flight to Atlanta. Even though he'd. been traveling for over 35 hours, he still stayed awake and played with it the whole trip from EWR to ATL. Great toy!

So great for the kids! Multiple of my smaller children are able to use this single set at the same time because there are plentiful pieces provided. The train piece and the miscellaneous blocks are great for learning tactile motor skills while “playing”!

I thought it was rather odd when searching online I didn't see a whole lot of Lego sets that weren't something specific you had to build.

I wanted just Legos for my girls to explore their creativity and have a nice quiet time. 

I went to the store and found these and then scanned them as I was checking prices during the Black Friday sale. 

I'm not sure if this was marked as a black Friday item, but I realized upon scanning it, that it was at least half the price compared to what was advertised on the shelf. 
So I put it back and went home to order instead. 

Although I do wish it had more Legos as the box is only about half full; my girls are loving it. 

My six-year-old has been making all kinds of things. She was especially excited about making flowers, cars, and trains.

Knowing this was coming in the mail today, we ran to Dollar tree to grab some bases that were only about $1.75 each. 

Overall, we are very happy with this set and the deal for the bases at dollar tree.

I am excited for my husband to come home and show them how to build even further!

Perfect for Creative minds

This is a VERY basic box of SMALL bricks and things. 
If you are old and have not bought LEGOs since childhood, everything is different.
Colors are amazing now. This box has several small packs of colour combos. It's very empty once things are open. I think that's a huge bonus. I opened each packet and put contents in a zip lock. I use the Brick case to store several different supplemental.sets. I like organisation.
I use these for free use while I put together large sets like "Starry Night". This has been great  help for managing stress.
This was a really inexpensive way to start.

Love the storage capacity of the yellow case resembling a Lego.  
The set comes with ideas and step by step instructions on a variation of builds. 
These parts were compatible with other Lego sets and had eyes to create different characters , animas , or creatures for play. 

Great gift set to a Lego fan beginner to advance!

Great to begin or expand a Lego collection

This is a great gift for older kids. There were many pieces that were really not appropriate for most four year olds without direct supervision and help with construction.  The box says classic medium which I took to mean medium sized and the pieces were very small. But overall the gift is reasonably priced and great for older children.
