Lego Dimensions Midway Retro Gamer Level Pack is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So much content. This level pack has an incredible amount of content. I usually wait until after I complete the level before I submit a review, but this one is long and challenging enough that I don't know if I'll be able to complete it. I saved and exited, but was sent back to the beginning when I restarted the level. I'm finding some of the games to be confusing/difficult and have REALLY touchy controls. I haven't done a proper count, but it seems like there are at least two dozen retro games to find and play. If you like that sort of thing, then I highly recommend this level pack. The playable character has a great/flexible ability set, and is a good value by himself. I LOVE the SpyHunter vehicle design in this set. This is one of the few Dimensions vehicles where it looks great in all three builds. This vehicle is now my default for ground/car races throughout the adventure words. It is fast, handles well and I've won races with it that I had be trying for months with other vehicles. The airplane version looks great, but doesn't fly as well as some other airplanes. The console gadget does what it does well. I like the first build, but the other two are stretches. I modified the first build so it will fit better in my fishing tackle storage boxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from like the retro A very enjoyable game, with a lot of appeal for older players who remember the good old days....where are my rose sun glasses? Any game a person plays,no matter what has a learning curve, and no matter how difficult it seems at first, they always get easier, more or less. I like playing many of the games-Robotron is my favorite, being able to play the arcade games at home is super,so many quarters saved. Super job Lego! As an older fan,I really appreciate this game, a number of the other Dimensions games have little hat tips to the past world of entertainment,it doesn't go unnoticed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I liked it I don't know why this product has such a low rating I thought this was one of the better level packs just because there is so much to do. The arcade games were fun, although some of the games were less fun than others, but with all the games it offers there are still many fun ones. My personal favorite is Rampage. But this level pack allows children to experience an older generation of games and even adults would have fun in this level pack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for all ages My son chose this for a new level pack, and we have all enjoyed it. Those who grew up in the 80s will appreciate the nostalgia. Although not all of the video games were familiar, several of them were. The extra level is fun and it requires you to play a few of the popular arcade games in order to advance. While they can be challenging, to get the minimum score required, it is not too difficult. Some of the younger kids might need a little help. The adventure world has areas that mimic the popular arcade games, and there are plenty of challenges, gold brick opportunities, and races around. There is also an arcade area where you can play any of the video games when you want. My kids really enjoy some of them like Rampage, Paperboy, Defender, and others. The character has some nice abilities which help in the overall Dimensions arena. The car build is helpful and easy to control, and the video game console is needed in order to access the games. Some people might even want the console for display value in other sets. All parts are printed, which is a plus. I think this pack is a bit underrated as it does have a lot to do and it can be appreciated by those who miss the days of hanging out in the arcade and eating pizza. as well as those who see these retro games for the first time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Challenging Level Pack This level pack is ok with the builds because you get a Gamer Kid aka Gamin ''gamer' which is a cool figure who has a coke in one hand and a coin in the other to play the Arcade Machine which is a good little build I really like the G-6155 Spy Hunter and it brings alot of memories when I used to play the old Spy Hunter game alot. The level itself is very challenging I understand you have to complete those retro games to complete the level but some are very and extremely difficult and they play just like the originals I understand some people will like this level pack with some of the old retro games some are easy some are not but overall it's still a fun but very challenging level pack.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The levels are too challenging There are arcade games in the level that you play using one of the models included and i found them t be way too challenging for a Lego game, i am not calling Lego games easy but I like Lego games for puzzles and very understandable challenges but some of the levels are very challenging and the controls are unorthodox.
