Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great product...Poor Delivery This was purchased as a gift. The ups delivery guy must have dropped and smashed the box more then once. The box was coming apart at the seams and there were shipping labels stuck all over the box and the insides were coming out as I picked it up off the porch. The box was also smashed in on the corners...Not very happy. cannot give this as a gift in the shape the box arrived

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for collectors We received the item, however, the box was mishandled. We are NOT COLLECTORS & I dare say that if you intended to do so, you wouldn't chance a mail delivery. So, in the event the thought crossed your mind, let it cross on out. Good set but not on good shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing set I needed this set as soon as I saw it as it combined two of my passions. Lego and dolls houses. It doesn't disappoint and the way the house is set out is just incredibly clever. It was really fun to build and the set has so many pieces for house building I'm sure if a person wanted they could build any number of other houses with it. It is visually stunning and the characters are fantastic. Some people complain about the eyes of the minifigures being sleepy looking. A way to deal with this is to buy the individual minifigures in the £2.49 packs and they have the wider eyes. Problem solved. The only slight downside to the house is that the roof pieces keep falling off, even the slightest knock and they crash to the ground but it's worth it for ease of access and they look great so just don't knock your house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Simpsons = AWESOME!!! Like many reviewers I agree this is an awesome set and I love it. I just wanted to point out a few things I think were missing from the set which are both minor and hopefully one will come as an additional set in the future. 1) Where is Snowball 2 and Santa's Little Helper? They are part of The Simpsons family and should have been included in this set for sure. Maybe they will be included in another set in the future. 2) I would have liked to seen the tree with Bart's treehouse included in this set. Hopefully it will be released at some point with SB2 and SLH. These are my only two gripes. Overall this is a must buy set for any Simpsons fan and if you like Lego and the Simpsons you've probably already gotten your hands on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the set! I had a great time building this set, and was quite surprised at the level of detail the creators were able to achieve. There were four pieces missing, but the company sent me replacements within a week, at no cost to me, which was great. Was a little disappointed that the pets weren't included, but this was easily rectified for me as a family member collects the mini figures and had spares I could use. Looking forward to getting the Kwik e Mart next, and hoping for more sets in the near future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good model but the build was very frustrating! Box/Instructions The box is huge - about the same size as the Pet Shop or maybe the Parisian Restaurant but I have not really measured it accurately. Parts There are over 2500 parts to this set and so it will look huge when you have finished building it. I must also add something that is annoying to me. Included are several cutlery parts as well as pots and pans for Ned Flanders to use I imagine but there is nowhere provided within the finished model to store them - no cupboard or any other storage space which is annoying. Minifigures The Minifigures look awesome. I love the heads of them as they look exquisitely sculpted and molded. The build The build is where I must report my biggest annoyance. The method used to attach the garage section to the main part of the house utilises 4 4205105: Brick 1X2 W. Horizontal Snap bricks and 4 4205107: Technic Brick 1X2, Ø4.9 bricks. This was a massively frustrating annoyance for me when trying to attach the garage after finishing the main house. The way the walls of the garage are constructed near the door hole at the back meant that every time I tried to push the two parts together to click into place, the wall of the garage got destroyed in the process and I had to rebuild it. The walls of the garage just were not sturdy enough and kept breaking apart. So I had to employ some creative thinking and disassemble part of the wall of the house, attach the technic snap brick to the garage first then try an slot it in. This succeeded but only after 3 or 4 tries and much shouting of frustration. Otherwise the build was fairly standard, but I did enjoy seeing how the different beds were made. The completed model Looks awesome. Enough said. Overall opinion Would have been much more enjoyable without the hassle of attaching the garage but still I love this model and I would recommend it to any Lego or Simpsons fan. Regarding accuracy to the house on the show - I don;t care. It is still an awesome model.
