LEGO® Star Wars™ - Resistance Trooper Battle Pack (75131) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Army builder This set is a great army builder for the resistance. The mini-figures are fantastic and the speeder is well put together. Pros: 3 resistance troopers 1 officer 3 of the new helmets The officer has a nice headpiece and one of the soldiers has a fun mustache. The gun on the speeder is removable which is nice. It can then be held off of the speeder by one of the mini-figures. Cons: The guns. I'm really tired of the stud shooters personally and now I just have 4 more of them. I wouldn't mind one or two but after having 4 sets last year give the stud shooters and two more this year it's just a bit much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better of the two TFA battle packs LEGO strikes back with a great Star Wars The Force Awakens battle pack! This pack included 3 Resistance troopers, one Resistance officer, and a small speeder. This set is definitely worth getting at least once. When I first saw this set, what really stood out for me were the Resistance trooper helmets. Of course, I only saw pictures and the box print, so I waited until I got my hands on them in order to really judge them. And they are AMAZING! They are comprised of two pieces, the upper helmet part, molded with two different colors of plastic (transparent neon yellow and tan) and a lower tan jaw piece that swings up and down. The upper part has black and white-ish prints and very subtle molded details on the back. Likewise, the jaw piece has small molded details. When the jaw piece is up, the helmet looks a bit odd, but with it down, it looks incredible. Sometimes I remove the helmets from my minifigures just to admire how they look. The minifigure selection is great, with 3 Resistance troopers and a Resistance officer. The Resistance officer looks good with a small amount of printing (as much as was needed, since the movie costume isn't very detailed) and the same face as the death star gunners. Each Resistance trooper has a different head: a Lex Luthor head, a mustached head, and a clean-shaven head. There are actually two costumes: the Lex Luthor guy and the mustached guy have a light tan vest with an orange-tan bandolier, while the clean-shaven guy has tan vest (the same color as the awesome helmets) and a brown bandolier. The torsos have awesome detailed prints, but none of the minifigures have leg printing. Now onto the speeder. Usually I don't care about the extra builds in battle packs, since they are army builders, but I really like this model. It's pretty detailed, so good with display, but the play-ability will make kids love this too. It has space for only two minifigures (a pilot and a gunner), so the other two will either sit on the top of the engine turbines or just not be on the speeder at all. There are two transparent light blue cones on the nose that represent blasters, but what bugs me is the fact that they are on the left of the nose (when looking at it head-on), which makes the build asymmetrical- why, LEGO, why? I rebuilt the nose of my speeder to make the entire thing symmetrical, which I find looks better. The turbines look good, and I especially like the R-5 droid heads in light gray. Finally, there is a rotating cannon on the build with a stud shooter incorporated into it. I like stud shooters on vehicles, and this is great for younger children. It can easily be replaced with a 1 by 2 by 1 black or dark gray plate if it bugs you. The part about the turret that I don't like is that since the gun-shaped base on which the blaster is build has a diagonal handle, the gun can only shoot horizontally forward and backwards; any shot to the side would be oddly tilted up, so the entire speeder has to turn in order to shoot a target. So much for it being a turret; it works more like a stationary weapon emplacement. Unfortunately, as with all of the more modern battle packs, there are not blasters but stud shooters. Stud shooters look large and clumsy and so... un-Star Wars-like. I really wish LEGO would go back to their original gun molds which look epic (why do you think they haven't changed since 2007?!) So overall, I absolutely love this army builder set, with great minifigures and speeder but once again, LEGO has included handheld stud shooters instead of normal blasters. I really wish that would change. Still, though, this is a great set which is more worth getting than the First Order battle pack, so if you have a choice between the two, go for this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Army Builder I recently bought 2 of these sets to begin a Resistance Army. This set is awesome! The minifigures were well detailed and printed. It is easy to tell the pilot, gunner, and soldier apart. The helmets look wonderful, and the blaster rifles were nice. The speeder, though small, was understandably so, and great for the price. PROS: Amount of minifigures included, Excellent diversity, Speeder, Blasters, Very useful for putting together an army, CONS: Somewhat expensive price tag, Altogether, it's an excellent set. I would highly recommend it. I've been building a MOC Resistance Base, and I'm looking forward to getting some more Battle Packs in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Battle Back This is always a question, is a particular battle pack worth it.... I think this one is. I think this vehicle is decent for the small size and piece count. So, at $10 on sale... a good buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Set This is a fun little set. I think the minifigures are good, but the stud shooters are kind of strange looking. The speeder itself is good, and I like how a minifigure can stand behind the gun. Pros: minifigures speeder Con: stud shooters
