Ratings & Reviews+

LEGO® Star Wars TM - Imperial Assault Hovertank™ (75152) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!!! A BEAST OF A TANK!!! Pros: The tank is amazing as a display and play piece fitting brilliantly with existing imperial vehicles like the AT-AT,AT-DP,AT-ST and the imperial troop transport. A fairly large build Highly detailed mini figures Imperial tank troopers look epic!!! Chirrut's bowcaster ,blind staff and robes. Rotating laser turrets, concealed see through wheels which makes the tank look like it hovers, space inside tank and flick fire missiles. Cons: Perhaps an extra minifig or 2 for the price like a stormtrooper commander, rebel soldier or an alien civilian from the planet Jeddah. Chirruts face could be made to look a bit more aged by adding jaw line graphics. The roof of the tank should have a circular hatch so a tank trooper can half lookout the top with his binoculars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than I expected When I got this set, I wasn't expecting anything grand or over-the-top. And to be honest, it isn't. But it was better(and bigger) than I expected. Let's take a look at the minifigures, shall we? Chirrut Imwe: This figure is very nice. He comes with a super confusing but good-looking papery-fabric waist cloak thingy. It has a red design on the black piece. The legs are plain black, but they're covered up anyways so it doesn't matter. He has some silver printing on his torso which looks nice. His eyes are white-ish blue like we've seen in the trailers, posters, etc. He has the slicked back hairpiece used on Draco Malfoy/Fenrir Greyback/Jek-14/Count Dooku/Chancellor Palpatine/General Zod.. I could go on for days. The hairpiece is appropriate though. He has a clip on his back to hold either his staff or blaster, which are both pretty cool. The staff is a bit long, but I can't come up with an equally accurate and shorter way to make it. Chirrut has a smiling face and a serious one. Overall a cool minifigure. Imperial Hovertank Pilots: Man, LEGO is nailing it with all these Rogue One-exclusive Imperial troopers. The Imperial Hovertank pilots have new helmet pieces with some really nice printing. The same helmet mold is used on the shore troopers in the TIE striker set. The torso design is good and continues into the legs. The legs on these minifigures are very nice. They have black printing down to the knees, which have those standard triangular plates on them. Underneath the helmets are- you guessed it- the ANGRY CLONE FACE. If LEGO uses that head one more time on a non-clone trooper, I will soon have that expression on my face. Use the black printed heads from 2012! Heck, use plain black heads! Those would look better as well. Anyways, my rant is over. Two Hovertank pilots are included. Yaaaaaaay! Now for the actual hovertank itself. There is a decently sized cargo area on the back, and one large orange crate thingy is included. This is a quite large and nice crate, and it can be opened to store a pistol and a pair of macrobinoculars. There are these sort of vents on each corner of the tank, which are pretty cool. On each side of the tank there are double-barrel cannons, which can be swiveled around a full 360 degrees, if you're not resting the tank on the ground. There is also a double barrel cannon in the front center of the tank, and two spring-loaded shooters are integrated in very nicely. They can be activated remotely by turning a gear on each side. On top of the cockpit area is a turret, and the cockpit area has a small amount of greebling. The top and front of the cockpit area can be opened, where both of the Imperial Hovertank Pilots can be seated. Finally, the tank has transparent wheels on the bottom, so you can sort of make it look like it's floating. That is, on hard surfaces. It doesn't really roll on carpet. So overall, this set is nicer and bigger than I expected. The tank is a good size and the minifigures are good too. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lego made a WHAT! Overall, this is a great set. It is so inexpensive, so I would highly recommend buying more than one copy. There were a few ways in which it could be improved though. It could have used another minifig; perhaps a generic rebel trooper and maybe a small section of wall to use as cover. Below are more of my comments: Pros: 1. The price is great, far better than 10 cents per piece, which is a good benchmark by my standards. 2. The exterior is very detailed, and it is very accurate. 3. The wheels underneath add excellent play value. 4. The interior of the tank is very accessible (The front and top plates are hinged). Cons: 1. The set only comes with one crate; the tanks in Rouge One had two. Also, this crate contains a blaster and electrobinoculars. The crates in the movie contained crystals. 2. The interior is not very detailed; I would have liked to have seen some tiles on the inside and controls that are more complicated than a set of two buttons. 3. The sponsons only elevate, they do not swivel horizontally. 4. The gun on the front is stationary. 5. The hatch on top of the tank does not open, so a pilot to poke his head out (sure, the top is hinged, but it does not look as cool) .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I got this as a Christmas gift and was really excited to star building. It took my about an hour to build and turned out very sturdy. Pros: Good price 3 cool Minifigures Spring loaded shooters Cons: Doesn't come with lego cyber crystals like in the movie All in all it was a very good product! for anyone who's looking for a rouge one set I definitely recommend this set. Thanks for making such an awesome set Lego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! With only having seen a glimpse of this Imperial Assault Hovertank in the Star Wars Rogue One Trailer (a very excited glimpse at that), I was very pleased with the Lego build and outcome of the final product. The Imperial Assualt Hovertank: It has a very WWII era German Tank destroyer (again to my liking) feel to it, Its very low to the ground and there are weapons on it but are made clearly for front firing only. The two double barrelled side guns on either side do move up and down on the Lego version, but the center one is static which I imagine will be the same in the movie. You can put both Minifigure pilots in the veichle wich is cool. There's a fair amout of space on the back for the crate provided which is built up and looks really good, or for Minifigures etc. I really like the way you can mount a Lego Star Wars Gun (ofcourse by choice) onto the top hatch section, good defense for any Minifigures riding on the veichle. The Minifigures: Loved all three Minifigures, the two new Hovertank Pilots with this set are really cool looking, a little bit like inbetween and Arc and Scout trooper. Big fan of most the troops from all Star Wars era's/expanded so im easily pleased with troops. The Chirrut Îmwe Minifigure is really well done, his eyes are white as looks the same in movie so far from trailer. He's got great torso printing and a really cool robe section that goes around his legs. His weapons, the Staff and like a big crossbow laser rifle of some sort are both built up but do look really good. overall: Great build, Great Price, Great Minifigures would Definitely recommend and will probably buy another one.
