Leslie does a great deal of explaining to beginniners (and reminding of non-begninners) of what Pilate moves are and how to do them correctly. She takes her time (which Pilates should never be rushed anyway) and gives a lot of instruction throughout the whole video. The beginning of the video is the instruction of what the moves are which you can skip after you know the moves. The rest of the video is the workout with Leslie talking you thru. She gives advanced moves with modifications for beginners. Then, there is an extra challenge you can do at the end. I recommend this video to anyone who is interested in Pilates at any level. You will have a great body as result of doing this workout as your form gets better and better!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenging workout, simplified I have five walk at home DVDs by Leslie Sansone. This is my second purchase of her "You can do" series, I have the Yoga DVD also. The narration, and the demonstration of the exercises make this a safe and challenging workout. Great to alternate with the walking series for a full body toning and strengthening experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for new Pilates users I am very active and have lost a lot of weight recently. I didn't think I would be able to do Pilates because I didn't think I would be strong enough. Having Leslie Sansone guide me through all the moves and teach me how to do it properly, I didn't end up hurting myself. Plus, there are a couple of options: just doing the learning segment, putting it all together a little faster with less explanation, and then incorporating the stretchie band (not included) for a bigger challenge. For me it is a great supplement to all of my other activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Place to Start If you've never done Pilates, this is a great DVD for you. Leslie demonstrates basic moves to show you how it's done before putting them all together into a great workout. While 'basic,' your core musculature will definitely be challenged, and when you're ready for it, the second segment with the firming band added is fabulous. This is a great DVD to build some core strength and increase flexibility and range of motion, and Leslie's professional approach will leave you wanting more. I'd love to see her do a complete series of Pilates workouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Met My Expectations This Cd is great! If you use Leslie Sansone's other exercise routines you won't be disappointed. She spends 15 minutes showing the moves and then a full half hour of doing it! The moves are all basic, but she takes what a beginner needs to get us started and promises results in a month's time. I've only been doing this for a week and can feel and see the differnce! Thanks WalMart, thanks Leslie.
