Iceberg lettuce isn't my first choice but sometimes it's what you need or all you can find. I'm not pleased with the fact this is from the USA, but, again, we often have to buy what's available. All that said, this is excellent lettuce: the heads are big, crisp, solid & surprisingly flavourful. They're always undamaged & the price is excellent -- you get a LOT of good lettuce for your money.

It's Iceberg -- But It's Good Iceberg

I really love the produce section at the Garden City Walmart. They are the freshest and have a great variety of greens too like bok choy, bitter melon, etc. This iceberg lettuce is very fresh and has a great price of 94 cents while other grocery stores are charging around $3.99 around this time.

Although I was pleased to see Walmart was buying Canadian iceberg lettuce, I was very disappointed at the size of the heads. To add insult to injury, I had to then peel away half of it to get to the edible portion. Would not purchase again.

Disappointed

This head of lettuce was the size of a baseball %26 had gone bad on the inside. Very disappointing paying $3 for this and having to throw it in the bin.

I was disappointed with the quality of the lettuce I received. It was reddish, looked spoiled, and was not fresh enough to eat. I expected better quality, especially for fresh produce. Please improve your quality checks before delivering vegetables to customers.

I understand that the Iceberg is special but it is rotten almost in its entirety. I'll throw it away. I’m 85 years old and I don’t understand how it works. Believe me, it's not edible.

Not eatable

I'm only reviewing this to say that this is the second time that an Instacart delivery shopper brought me cabbage when I ordered lettuce. If Instacart delivery shoppers do not know the difference or cannot read, they should not be shopping.

They need to teach them how to pick better produce for the money. I pd almost for dollars for a head of letruce and they picked the smallest on. It had maybe 12 leaves afyer you took of outer one. Same thing with celery. I do appreciate them doing it but still its about the size.

This item was in the flyer for $1.98 I got charged $3.44 I will keep it, but that's way too expensive for lettuce
