Great tv great  value

It's only been up and running a couple weeks, but has a great picture and sound quality. I chose it because it was highly rated and a best value in Consumer Reports Magazine.

So far, so good.

Picture clarity is good with great online features for web surfing and internet program selection.  Though it is relatively big, it was light and easy to move with one person.  So far, so good....

Great features at a great price

I love the tv I purchased. I researched several tvs and went with this one bc of the features and reviews. No complaints.

Perfect choice.

I am very pleased with this TV, and I have no regrets with the purchase.  The picture looks great with OTA TV, DVD, BlueRay, and 4K.  The colors are very vivid and blacks are dark.

I have it connected to an Over-the-Air antenna.  The digital channel change is almost instantaneous.  The is the first TV that I have seen change OTA digital channel so fast.  All of my other  LCD TV's take 1-2 seconds every channel change

The only issue that I have experience is... it does not playback my Plex recordings properly.  Is plays all of my recording back in a fast forward like manner.  I have to use my Roku or FireStick for Plex playback.  Hopefully, this issue will be resolved with a future update.

I have the TV connected to a sound bar/sub speaker, and I haven't used the built in speakers.

Great picture color depth and sharpness

I have had this TV for a few weeks.  I upgraded from a smaller tv that was pretty old, so it was a big step up for me.  I could not afford an expensive tv and shopped around a lot.  This is a very nice looking tv - it has an expensive looking finish.  The picture is very good and there are several picture mode options. The sound has been consisten and can be turned up very loud. I have Netflix and no longer need the extra box.  Easy to set up with cable and dvd player.  This was reviewed in Consumer Reports and was the top tv that wasn't over $1000.  I think the list price was $800 +/-.  I paid just over $500 for it.  So, it might not compare to more expensive tvs, but it has been great for me.

Very good for the price.

I just bought this and set it up on New Year's Day. Easy to unpack, set up, and get started watching in under 20 minutes. Great features and great picture on HD channels. Can't wait to see a 4K movie! The "magic remote" included was an unexpected bonus, but I'm still having problems making it work with my FiOS service. Might be my fault.

Great TV at Great Price

I installed my set and the setup was easy.  It found over 100 cable channels off the line and found my Wi-Fi with no trouble.  The software is updated and the photo looks great so far.  I haven't covered the cable box yet.  The channels flow easily from cable to the steamed channels.

Lots of features, great picture and great price!

This is a great budget buy, but buyer beware! The panels light up vertically, so if you are watching a movie scene that is totally dark, when one panel lights up, it can obscure the whole section. For instance, in "Godless" on Netflix, there is a dark scene where a lamp is lit. I was not able to see what was going on in the dark, because a little light on one section would obscure the darker parts of the screen. I wish I would've known!

Caveat emptor!

I bought this LG set after reading about it on Consumer Reports.  I'm sad to say that this set is the most difficult thing to try and adjust that I've ever seen.  No manual comes with the set, you have to hook it up and try and get a picture before you can address a built-in manual.   The problem with the built-in manual is that you have to use a clipboard to write down the directions from the manual because you can't see them once you begin to follow them.  I've only addressed the color and sharpness of the picture so far and no telling how hard it will be to address and get the "smart" offerings to function.  If it weren't such a hassle, I'd take it back and get a Samsung!   Buyer Beware!
