Rated 1 out of 5 by from It needs to be reset all the F. Time I bought this to have at my office but every week i basicly have to reset the thing if it's been offline for to long. It just doesn't want to go online. I've also tried with the LG "router" that you can buy with it. Basicly don't buy it...it sucks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating at first. Now it's a piece of cake. App is overly ambitious. LG tried to put too much into it. Large learning curve. After 8 months of ownership, I'm getting pretty good at it. To my eye, these are the most attractive, elegant design of any speaker on the market today. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Speakers --- with caveat I originally purchased a 4-speaker setup from someone selling their system on Craigslist. I have since added 3 speakers I purchased retail. Just like many of the reviews here, I believe the Craigslist seller was not happy with the speakers, i.e. Wi-Fi disconnections, hard to mesh speakers together, etc. Originally, I also experienced problems setting up the system. Quite frankly, I helped create some of the problems myself, but I blame that on poor instructions. Eventually, I went online and found my answers through LG's online forum. Also, you definitely need a GREAT Wi-Fi router and you need to make sure you can place your Wi-Fi router in a good location so that you receive a good signal at all your speaker locations. If you are using one of those cheapo cable modem/wi-fi routers, I can tell you something tucked in the corner of the family room (or basement) will probably not adequately reach every area of your home. If you have the choice to use ethernet cable to connect some of your speakers -- DO THAT! Don't depend 100% on Wi-Fi is you don't have too! I noticed one commenter mentioned he lost the signal constantly in his office. If I had one speaker in an office, I would use the bluetooth feature. The whole purpose of this type of speaker is to be able to connect multiple speakers together and share your music, podcasts, radio (I primarily use IHeart Radio and Tunein) to every speaker so as you walk around from one place to another, you don't loose the sound and can enjoy your programming. Save yourself some money and just get a nice bluetooth speaker. Don't pay a premium price for a speaker like this if you only plan to use it in a single speaker setup. I am now up to 7 speakers and everything is working great. I keep the firmware, PC software & phone APPs up-todate. I know everyone wants everything to work straight out of the box, but you do have to read the manual and you do have to have a good Wi-Fi setup at location to make the multiple speaker system work the way it should. By the way - I assume because of multiple, bad reviews from buyers - prices from these speakers have dropped at the retail level. I notice that here and other places. I have gotten great deals on my additional speakers. My original (used) 4-speaker system cost the owner over $1,000 and I purchased for $350. So get a GREAT (not good Wi-Fi router); centrally locate it the best you can; set your multiple speaker system up one speaker at a time and make sure you do firmware updates; keep all software up-todate; if using your Iphone (or similar device) to send your source (music, podcast, radio, etc) signal to the Wi-Fi router -- it has to be able to reach your Wi-Fi router too - so walking around your house; office; or outside constantly may break up the signal. I am using an Ipad AIR and Ipod Touch (5th Gen) to send content (via my Wi-Fi router) to my speaker network.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound but can't get it to work with soundbar I bought this to hook with the soundbar for the tv. It will not work with the tv. It works with the computer to play music but can't get the right combination to get it to work with the soundbar on the tv and that is what I bought it for. So for now it just sits on the shelf. Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible dissapointment So dissapointed I bought this product. Terrible connection problems, cannot connect my H7 to my ultra hd bluetooth LG tv, very akward and unreliable software, buggy. Based on the price I paid I assumed I would be getting a very good product that works well all the time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
