Great little dishes

They just love the glass Casserole and perfect gift with microwave.   They love it.

Oven

Heavy, big, clunky. I bought it for the microwave and it works. Unfortunately, it is incompatible with the very idea of a microwave. I bought it because glass "looks and feels" more appetising than plastic, but I used it once and am now back to the ugly green Starfrit microwavable container because it is far more practical.

Works, but too clunky and unpleasant to use

This glass dish is very heavy. Was going to return it.

I normally don't write reviews, but this was honestly terrifying.

I bought this glass casserole dish expecting it to handle normal cooking. I was using it on the stovetop (nothing extreme, just regular cooking), and it suddenly EXPLODED right in front of me. Not cracked. Not chipped. It literally shattered into pieces without warning.

Glass went everywhere across the stove and counter. I was incredibly lucky that none of it hit my face or eyes. If I had been standing slightly closer, this could have caused serious injury. It was shocking and dangerous.

Cookware should not behave like this under normal use. Even if there are limitations, they should be very clearly stated and impossible to misunderstand. A dish that can explode without warning is not safe in a kitchen.

I would absolutely not recommend this product. The risk is not worth it!

It exploded when cooking on the stove top

Top edge near handles, on inside of dish, tend to chip and fall into dish. Walmart claims this is 'legally sensitive info' so I guess if the review is rejected I will just report to another (Actual manufacture) - Would not suggest this (Does not apply to the regular rounded dishes, of which I also own and are perfect so far)

Item seems to chip from just basic heat (IE Food in dish, warmed in microwave) without even the lid(BTW the lid is also fine and I don't notice any damage to it whatsoever)

Glass chips tend to fall into bowl.

NOT SAFE. Dangerous. Chips of glass (from top edge near inside bowl next to handles) fall into the food often just from the heat (Microwave or even the hot food IN the bowl)

Only seems to apply to the oval design(THe other two which I also bought here, are so far still safe, no glass chips)

The design of the oval one has it so that the handle sides have a edge/lip that is very weak and easily chips, and the chips fall right into the inside of the bowl.
