Little Tikes Cook ‘n Store™ Kitchen Playset is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Little tikes cook n store kitchen Very disappointed in the quality of this toy. Fridge door was broken. Stove doors very difficult to open and close. They stick. Taking it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Portable kitchen The Cook 'n Store Kitchen was ready to be played with in less than five minutes. Upon opening the box, you'd find that you just pull it out of the box, pull the side panels open, unbag the accessories that it came with and voila! Instant fun! :) I loved that it is light, portable and didn't take up a lot of space in the playroom. The colors were pretty and not overwhelmingly neon like some toys can be. I also liked that the cooking utensils were big enough so I didn't have to worry about choking in case the kids put them in their mouths as they play pretend to taste their cooking. The spinning spice rack was a nice surprise. I appreciated that its height was extendable too. If your kids had other cooking toys, they would mesh well with this kitchen too. I did find that the doors of the oven and lower rack didn't stay closed if not pushed in the right way. It does seem sturdy enough but I wouldn't put heavier toys on top of it. Overall, my daughters aged 6 and 15 month old had oodles of fun playing with it :) They loved "preparing" dinner and "baking" inside the oven. Even my 6yr old nephew had a great time tinkering with this kitchen. As part of the MGAE Toy Testing program, I received this for free in exchange for my honest feedback; all opinions are 100% my own and unpaid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flimsy and Small. Not for anyone over 3 We were looking for a Kitchen to fit into a small space and decided to give this one a try. We ended up taking the set back but i would like to explain the pros and cons of the set for those who are considering buying one for themselves. 1. It is fold-able. The design is pretty impressive and easy and quick to set up. In fact my 3 yr old had a lot of fun folding it in and out himself. We didn't mind him doing it, but for others that might be a problem. 2. It does come with a lot of accessories. It's a good thing too because all of our other play foods are too big for the set (we have bought melissa and doug and learning resources pretend play food products). Example: The lazy susan rack is only 2 inches wide radius.. where our learning resource cans are 3.25 inches so we couldn't put other can foods and etc on the set. Also the pots and pans are too small to fit the pretend food we have as well. 3. The set does come pre assembled.. huge plus! And we didn't have any issues with opening the doors as some have stated in reviews i read before giving the product a try. 4. Over all this set is small. It reminds me of When a restaurant will keep an item at the same price but ever so slightly shrinks the amount you get. Because of this, my 3 year old who is 39 inches tall was already at the limit for this set. He had to arch his back to play at the counter height. He didn't complain, but as an adult i know it will only become a bigger problem later on. 5. The set is not sturdy. You lose that with the collapse design. While the set never tipped over, it did scoot across the hard floor while my son was playing with it. Be sure to anchor it. For the price range of under 60 dollars This set is probably the best out there so go ahead and take it... but you can find much better options and quality for just 25 dollars more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots to play with! I like the idea of this but it's a bit too wobbly and the compartments are small. I feel like it should be bolted to the wall. Kitchens aren't really tempting to my three year old but he did enjoy hiding all the food in the different compartments. I like how small it is among the many other toys we already have!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just "okay", I wouldn't buy it again. This kitchen is perfect for if you're very limited on space. There are few things about this kitchen that upset me though. The concept itself is great, but I feel like there are more cons than pros. The set up of this kitchen is nice in that it comes "pre assembled" however it was very difficult for me to get the top section pulled up. This playset is amazing in that it is super lightweight and has a great design and aesthetic. I like the concept of the spinning spice rack and I love the little "silverware compartment". The silverware that came with the kitchen doesn't all fit inside it. The sink is super cute with it's little dish rack and I love the "hooks" to hang pots and pans as well as the cooking utensils that came with the kitchen. My biggest complaint though is how small it is. I figured it would be similar in size to the other little tikes products, but it's actually closer in size to the Cook'n Grow Grill. The very tiny play food sets work well with this kitchen, but our Little Tikes brand play food and our Melissa and Doug play food is way to big. There are also latches on the fridge, microwave, oven, and storage compartments that are very difficult for even me as an adult to open. When my 3 year old tries to open a compartment he accidentally knocks the entire kitchen over. If you plan on putting this kitchen in a carpeted room make sure to keep it up against a wall because it doesn't stay up very well. The fridge is pretty shallow and the burner is very small. We actually tried to use the little tikes pan that came with our Cook'n Grow grill and it was too big. The kitchen comes with a few play food items such as plastic boxes that are to represent sugar, cornmeal, and wheat/flour and they barely fit some of the logical spots. I love the little tikes brand food that came with it though, it's durable and I wish that little tikes offered even more play food options than what comes with it and the grill foods.
