This was bought for my three year old grandson, who is going in for surgery. He will need to be still for at least 10 days. We will see how that goes. I am hoping this will do the trick. Easy to use buttons that tiny fingers even big fingers use with ease. Cartridges are easy to use just push in and pull out. You can focus the picture, also has a headphone jack. I bought a case I found on amazon and also a projector stand, so you can adjust the height of the placement where you want your picture. Would recommend both. Keeps everything together. Also got him a Dr Seuss stuffed animal that works with the unit. This is great for a gift educational, Entertainment, Creativity, and a Teaching tool.

The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine Dr. Seuss Starter Pack is such a fun and creative bedtime toy for little kids. It brings stories to life by projecting colorful pictures onto the wall while reading the story aloud, making storytime feel magical and interactive. The sound effects, lights, and nightlight feature make it special for bedtime routines. The story cartridges are easy to switch out, and there are lots of additional story packs available. overall it's a cute, calming, and entertaining toy that kids really enjoy.  My 3yr old grand-daughter loves it!!

My 2 year old grandson loves this at bedtime. It keeps him still and focused on the story. He does get upset at times because it pauses between pages and he thinks it is over.  A great item for a small child.

This you has been such a fun addition in our house. It's durable and built for kids. My son can put the movies in on his own and take them out. When not listening to a book, you can still use it as a sound machine and a light. It shuts off automatically in about 10 minutes to save the battery.

Our 5 year old daughter LOVES this! It's such a hit. She's been quoting the books because she's been listening to/reading along with the stories so often! She sometimes needs a little help getting one story out to put in another one but that's fine. She can adjust the focus and play/pause the story herself. Our baby likes listening too :) Would definitely recommend!

Amazing toy!

This is such an awesome toy and learning device for smaller kids. My child is 4 years old and she “plays” with this everyday.  This is very easy for my child to use all by herself.  This doubles as a book reading machine and white noise and light.  This works like a projector and projector the pages of the book on the wall or ceiling or wherever you like. Also, there is a voice that reads the actual book to the child. And I noticed the more she has a book to her the more she remembers it and can recognize the words and letters herself. This comes with the dream machine projector, and three books and a little figure that pops in the top of the machine. This is a really great item and I highly recommend it especially for a small children that can't read, this is very durable can take some fall without breaking

Dream Machine

I was so excited that I stumbled across this story projector and story teller.   I bought my grandkids moonlight that hooks to phone. They loved it but needed my cell phone to use. This projector is super kid friendly easy to work and projects the scenes clear.  Loud audio too.  Can't wait to buy more stories.

Such a great gift for my grand kids.

Purchased for 3 year old and 4 year old grand daughters.  They loved it.  It is difficult to insert the story cartridges for toddlers and they most likely will need help. Also, the stories are very short and don't last longer than 5 minutes.  It would be nice to have stories that play for at the very least 10-15 minute range.  All-in-all it they are enjoying and therefore I'm happy with the purchase.

Stories projected on the wall

Unfortunately I can't give a 5 star rating. The lens never comes to a full focus even when adjusting left to right like the directions instruct. The directions state that the picture will come to a 70-80% focus which is disappointing. The 3 books that come with the projector didn't keep the kiddo's attention. I have ordered some of the other book selections and hopefully they will be more well liked. It is a cute overall idea and the light and sounds machine feature works well.

Not quite there

The product concept is outstanding, but the execution falls short in several key areas.

Image quality remains poor even after focus adjustments, lacking the sharpness desired for family stories.
Audio performance is mediocre, undermining the immersive experience.
Text edges appear blurry despite tweaks, making readability inconsistent.
Pricing feels high relative to the overall quality delivered.

Missed Opportunities
Including a basic storage bag (even a simple one) would greatly enhance practicality, avoiding the need for their expensive travel accessory.

A plug-in tripod mount option would simplify setup, though the device's portability is a notable strength.

Overall, compared to current technology, this feels overrated with limited story formats—nailing the nostalgic home-movie vibe but not much else.

thank you for ruining my daughters Christmas 

absolute trash i spent 20 minutes trying to get this pile of trash working and nothing so i smash it off the floor for 5 minutes and boom finally the garbage works. no matter what button you press this junk doesn't work right. it should be 1 button to turn it on not abuse. i want every penny back for this pile of garbage and the add ons i wasted my money on.
