If this happens, you can revive your seasoning. Be sure to lift your pan when moving it on a glass top stove. Use any utensils you like, even metal. Heat and cool your pan gradually for added longevity. No microware.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Steel Pan Review Fairly heavy thick steel for heavy duty cooking anywhere, cook top, to open camp fire. The only draw back I would say is there pre-seasoning, I believe it is sprayed on creating a texture inside the pan which I do not care for, So i re-seasoned the pan. Plus i now know what the seasoning is on the Pan now. Also this is a heavy gauge steel pan so it has a lot of weight to it. But compared to the others on the market it is a steal for the price. pun intended...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my new searing pan Great pan to sear meat in. Need time to season by cooking more animal based fats before cooking an egg without sticking. Much lighter than cast iron and great heat distribution. Don't wash with soap. Just rinse with water or rub with napkin of excess oil before store away. Never store wet otherwise it will rust.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lighter weight but preseasoned dissolves easily good product, shipping caused chipping of perimeter due to "box too small" Seasoning began disappearing after only 3 uses, and if left in sink with soap to dissolve cooking debris, pan began to rust in spots. Now have to re-scrub, coat with flax oil, place in oven to start coating again. I have not found the time to spend an hour to clean up after each use., and oven dry. The re-seasoning does work, but three times a day....i'just may be too impatient, but who knows...
