I love this product and have been using it so many years, I can't even remember how long.  15+ years maybe. Easy to use and colors are great!  Of course, depending on your hair color to start, my end color may not match the box, but it definately lightens (or darkens) close.  You can highlight an high or low as you want.  My hair is so soft afterwards. In my 30s & 40s, the color would last 3-4 months, but as I have gotten older I've had to do it more often.  Honestly, I do the full process each time and skip the root touch up process, as I don't have skill or patience to find the roots. My hair never feels dry or fried.  My sadness is that the product seems to be phasing out and the variety of colors are disappearing.

Why discontinue Red Ginger Twist without replacing it with a comparable product?? I have used this kit for years with amazing results. I am reading about so many others who are also disappointed in this. What is the recommendation to replace Red Ginger Twist all over color PLUS highlights? So disappointed in Loreal.

WHY???

Been using forever and no one ever questions my color and highlights aren't natural, only compliments how beautiful my hair looks. 

*Only wish L'Oréal would not only bring back my preferred color 6.0 Almond Roca, (Light Brown/Natural) but make it easily available in sores shopped as before.

What has happened?!?! I've searched everywhere for this product I have used for years and now I see it has been discontinued :( For years I have received sooo many compliments on my hair color....even from my stylist! This is the closest color to my natural color.....Lot's of woman searching for this.....it's selling for outrages $$ on other web sights....PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

Ginger Twist 6.4

I bought the Iced Meringe kit a couple months ago and fell in love with the product. 
I'm 60 and literally have been coloring and highlighting my hair, both myself and have had it done professionally-this kit works great. Question: what color is the actual hair color in the kit? I touch up my grays every 3-4 weeks and need this color-it is PERFECT for me and can't find just 8.2 in the store for L'oreal coloring. I need to color my grays more than to touch up my highlights and buy a whole kit each time, so please give a girl a hand. I also used a "used" frost cap to select the places I wanted to highlight rather than using the brush, but applied it to those areas with the brush. Either way, I got great results and recommend it highly!

I LOVE this stuff AND I need to ask a question

Please bring it back, I have received soooooo many nice comments about my hair with the Ginger Twist. HOW can you just discontinue it without asking women. Can't find another product to stand up to it... WHY did you discontinue Ginger Twist? You should at least have a back up color instead of nothing. Don't understand help me with this...

Ginger Twist

I have been using color experte 6.4 ginger twist for years. As I have read through the reviews I see I am not the only one. L'Oréal I believe you have just made a lot of women very mad just as I am!!!!  So tired of companies discontinuing products I like and use regularly!!!!!!!! I selected no on recommending product because it's no longer available

Not happy

I did a strand test which was fine, then did 10 mins on roots and 5 more after slathering the rest of my head. My base color was a warm blonde (dyed) with bleached highlights which was a tad brassy. I used the 8.2 iced meringue. The photos are before and after..

Didn't turn orange or gray

L'Oreal Paris

I have light golden blonde hair that gets a bit darker in the winter (less sun to naturally lighten my hair) I bought and used the 8.2 Iced Meringue and now my hair is purple-ish/grey!!!! Its horrifying! I bought this for a birthday present to myself... now I have purple hair on my birthday!  DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Why haven't you brought back Ginger Twist 6.4 or a similar red version?  It is a fantastic product and I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a substitute.  Copper red hair is still VERY fashionable.  Please introduce a new similar product.  Thank you.
