Waterproof mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With aging comes lack of volume & lack of lashes. I have bought so many mascaras and yet there's always something that they lack, but this one is perfect! I have lengthening that makes me look more like I did in my 20's, no irritation with my sensitive eyes, and removal is so much better (comes off with ease). Overall, I'm just happy that I finally found what works best for me, just wish I had found it sooner! Definitely will be buying again and recommend to anyone to give this a try if you're looking for lengthening that lasts. Oh and the design of the tube is adorable!

I’ve been using this product for over 15 years. I really like it, but I do not like the gold on the outside it flakes off of the container. It’s all over my makeup bag and on my hands and face all the time it never used to be that way, but ever you’re using It’s awful please change it back or I’m going to change make up please look into it!!!!!

I decided to try this mascara after hearing great things about the L'Oréal brand. I typically use higher‑end mascaras from Ulta, but with the strong ratings and lower price point, I wanted to see if this could be a good alternative.

What I liked:

It separates lashes beautifully, giving a clean, defined look.
The formula doesn't clump, even when applying slowly or building it up.

It doesn't flake throughout the day, which is a big plus for long wear.

What didn't work for me:

I chose the black shade, but the color payoff was lighter than expected.

I ended up needing to layer my old mascara on top to get the depth and intensity I prefer.

Overall:
It's a solid mascara if you want separation, no clumping, and a flake‑free formula. However, if you prefer a bold, deep black look, you may find yourself needing to layer it with something else.

i used to love this mascara and it used to make my lashes look outstanding. however, now i've noticed the formula has changed. it weighs my lashes down, flakes, and is super dry - alike to an old mascara, however, i will buy it brand new and it is like this. i miss the old formula!!! please bring it back. i had to switch to a different brand. this used to be my favorite. i'm heartbroken.

I really like the actual mascara but after a while the rim which reduces the amount of product on the wand either disappears into the lid or perhaps into the container??? So now it’s thick and gloopy all over the wand. Really frustrating. I’ve tried cleaning the screw threads and looking for the missing piece but can’t find it. Such a waste as there’s plenty of mascara left. This has happened twice so now I have two half full mascaras that I can’t use.

Containers faulty, wasted product.

interesting... I'm not really sure why this mascara has such great reviews. I prefer the one that puts the white layer of mascara on first and then the black.

does not lengthen eye lashes

I’ve used this product religiously for 10+ years, most recent purchase does not wash off, it applies very thick and clumps, additionally it does not dry. I’m at a loss, this was my go to for some many years. The only thing I can think of is a recent formula change.
