Ratings & Reviews+

Mainstays Food Storage Container is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect This is a wonderful container and look beautiful on the counter or in the cupboard. They are well made and should last quite a long time. I bought it to store bags of Bob's Red Mill flour and it will hold two bags. I bought the size smaller in the store to hold one bag of BRM flour. Works great. There is one major flaw though. Once there is some weight in them you have to pick them up with two hands on the sides NOT BY THE TOP. I am used to grabbing things by the top with one hand to carry or move them and the lid will hold, for a brief moment, then will let go spilling its contents for many feet across the floor. Once these containers are full there is no safe way to pick them up except with two hands and a firm grip on the sides because of the top and because of the very lovely smooth sides.
