I like my hamberger and pork sausage chopped fine when making sloppy joes and sausage gravey, this makes it to the consistancy I love, very small.  Don't know why I waited so long to buy one.

Handy Dandy

This tool is perfect for breaking up hamburger meat as it is cooking in the frying pan. It works better than anything I have ever tried before.  I would recommend the Mainstays Hamburger Chopper to anyone!  And Walmart's price was ideal!

Great chopper!!!

I first seen these online and decided I had to have one. Tried for the first time last night and I love love love it so much. I do not like my ground beef and ground turkey chunky. I like it finely chopped and this thing does just that. I bought one for my mom as a stocking stuffer as well.

Works great

This thing does exactly as advertised. I love chopping ground beef for spaghetti, ground chicken for Thai recipes and Italian sausages for various recipes. This is the way to go if you don't want big chunks in your meals or if a recipe call for a finer grade of meat. Highly recommend!

Best chopper around

I love this utensil!! I saw someone using it online and knew I need to try it. I can't believe how inexpensive it is and how sturdy and good it actually works. I've seen others on different websites at a higher price and so glad I got this one from Walmart. It is strong, not flexible, and really chops up ground beef. I like my ground beef chopped in small pieces and could never achieve it with a spatula. This does it perfectly every time and I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Best utensil

Great price, and I'll never cook ground meat without one of these again! You could pay 10x more for a meat chopper, but I can't imagine why. Dishwasher safe, sturdy, excellent value.

Never had one before, now it's indispensable

Love this thing!  While meat is still cold it's harder  to chop thru but as it begins to cook, easier and easier. Hasn't scratched my pan. I've even chopped chicken tenders after they have cooked in the pan!  Very sturdy

Better than I thought.

It's OK for a small pan like in the preview pictures but the way I cook for a large household. I don't think it's sufficient enough. If you're cooking maybe two pounds of ground beef in a single pan this should suffice well, for my purposes of large scale family cooking,  it's gonna need some extra effort to do it's job properly, such as breaking down in smaller portions to use. So do keep your family size in mind, cooking for 1-4 people should suit well for this item

Doesn't seem well for large batches

I bought this because it was such an amazing price but now I know why. The material feels kind of cheap and the meat breaking part is very rough, not smooth like other ones I've seen. I did not feel comfortable using it on my non stick pans as I was afraid they would end up scratched up. I returned the item.
