I like the ease of instructions for the couch. It was very nice knowing the instructions were very well organized. The downside was the materials like nuts and bolts. They felt cheaply made and one even snapped in half while I was putting it together. This makes me question the safety of the sofa sleeper.  The cushions also are very stiff so if you are looking for a firm mattress this is for you. Overall it's very nice for my little gaming area it's got a real couch gamer vibe to it. The mechanics of the sofa are very smooth too which was awesome. I'm only going with 3 stars because I had to go to the hardware store to replace the screw that snapped in half.

I bought this futon bed for my son so that he could have seating/extra room is his bedroom.  We've only had it for 4 months and in the 3rd month, the bed stopped going down into the sleeping position.  He now has to sleep on it in the seated position because there was no extended warranty offered for this futon...now I understand why.  :(

Not a good buy without warranty.

I would not buy this again. The mattress it came with is barely a mattress. It's a few cheap "mesh-foam" pieces shoved into a thin piece of fabric with zippers on it, making it easier to be washed, which is the ONLY thing that makes buying worth it. The instructions are backwards and the stickers on the pieces were mislabeled making putting it together a pain and completely backwards. Stripped a screw trying to fix their mistake. Not worth the money for the quality of product. Lesson learned.

overall its great material but i have three issues with it when its folded out to be a bed you can lay in the middle or it will slightly fold in very uncomfortable, two the cushions that come with it to insert into the actual couch pouches flatten down very fast not even a week after i got it, and three Do Not put it against dry wall if you want it to make a hole

This futon was already a pain to put together as it was with missing parts, and most of them being mislabeled. But once I put it together, it almost immediately broke. If I sat on it, it would lean back, and it wouldn't rest into place. A few weeks go by, and the bars are bending on the bottom, and almost touching the floor. I'm giving this 2 stars and that's only because my cat cannot get enough of the fabric.

Metal for being the biggest piece of garbage

the frame is sturdy. i wanted to start positive. after about 3 weeks the hinges dont work well. if it is in couch mode it is awesome, when you sleep it will create a V and as i am 6' i have to sleep at an angle, or have my feet across the arm rest, so sliding into the middle isnt an option. also the thin wire supports have started to break. the "mattress" if you can call it that, got flat quick so i have to keep flipping it to try and wear it evenly. 

since i cant return it and i cant afford something else i picked up a new set of hinges that are heavy duty. i wont say where but it is named after a rain forest in South America. 

that will solve some issues until i can save for something better

This is not worth the money. The matress never loosened up so it never really relaxed to fit nicely. On top of that, one of the legs broke less than 2 months into owning it. My son is 60lbs and it broke when he was sitting on it. Walmart was not good to deal with, regret this purchase.

Bought this to use as a sofa in my son's room.   It was a little flimsy but thought it would be ok since we didnt intend on using it as a bed. Lasted 6 months. Yesterday while sitting on it the weld snapped on a bar joining  the center both front and back snapped and shot off allowing the bed to collapse.

Cheaply made and doesn't last. Risk of injury.

This is the worse futon I've ever tired. It folds on you when sleeping! It's hard to lean it back. Its very stiff. I thought the cushion was an actual mattress not 4 cushions in a cover. The middle bends in and was like that from the start. I would not recommend at all you can get a cheaper futon   with less issues and more comfortable!

Would not recommend

The metal screws that stick out on the top back part of the frame broke into my wall. If you have tile floor and sit onto the couch it will slide back into the wall causing damage to the wall. The cushion is poorly made and doesn't last. I have to purchase a new futon less than a year after this one.

I really like the size of this futon. Easy to assemble and seems very sturdy with lots of support. It will come in handy in our play room for gaming and sleepovers!
