So happy with this bunk bed!  Even more attractive than I expected. Very easy to assemble, directions simply written and all parts very well marked. Arrived in excellent condition, no defects or missing parts.  Very sturdy and well built.  I got in in white.

We love this bunk bed for our boys. My favorite part is that it is made of solid wood instead of particle board. The instructions for setting up the beds were clear and understandable and didn't take too long with two people. I also like how the ladder is attached to the bed on both ends because it does not take up additional area space like those that are at an angle and rest on the floor. I'm wanting to buy this again if I can get it in white for my daughter.

Sturdy bunk beds

I was a bit surprised to realize that must be assembled meant every single board. However, the directions were easy to follow and it is a job that even one person could do. It was helpful to have the second set of hands a couple of times. The product is very sturdy, beautiful finish, and all parts were supplied as needed. I am pleased we chose this bed out of the many we looked at before purchasing.

Sturdy and Perfect Beds!!

I was afraid to receive it once I realized most of the positive reviews were from years ago, but once my husband put it together I was happy, seems sturdy and the little scratches are nothing to complain about. Only thing that scared me was one night I was in the bottom bunk with my 4 year old and as I was getting off there was some noises like something was strained. Im 140lbs. Took my husband 2 hrs to build alone. Only have had it for a few days so far so hoping it stays in good shape for a while!  My 4 and 8 year old love it so Im happy!

So far so good!

This bunk bed is of a beautiful real wood and very nicely made. One of the few our family found to have a decent weight capacity for prolonged use as our family grows at 250 lbs. per bed. Love that the ladder is attached and can not fall from bed.  Sits above ground high enough for additional storage or twin bedding to fit properly. Very pleased with this purchase of bunk beds. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice set of bunk beds. - Boyer family

It took around 3h to put together. It's a nice, sturdy bed. The kids love it! My only complaint is that there was a big scratch on a piece of wood and the sticker was hard to remove. It took me 1h with Goo Gone.

Sturdy bed

It looks good and feels sturdy enough.  One crossbeam had a small crack and I requested a new beam just in case, though they haven't said whether or not they'll accept my request and not enough mattress support beams.  It should work fine for a kid, but we're thinking about getting some more from the local hardware store.  Also pay attention to the instructions for the mattress beams re: the ladder.  My kids like it and it looks solid so fingers crossed

Cons: For boys? Humph! Thats so wrong to say. First off, the planks are too small for the beds to hold. Trust me, it pokes through and makes for a uncomfortable sleep. Had to go purchase wood to make wider planks for stability between the smaller ones. 6 top/6 bottom. It made a lot of creaking noises when on top, also on the bottom before. But...With the stabilizing, NOW, its more secure. Also, widen the ladder by 4 inches to the inside. You can get caught and fall coming down. A more stabilizing plug, wider and longer, when beds are stacked on top of each other is needed too. Just saying.  Pros: Fast delivery and Nice color.
In summary, customer safety is a MAJOR top priority here and a much needed modification for your product, and oh yes, it needs it. You got more cons, than pros.  Sorry people. Cheers.

More stabilizing...and what's this for boys bit?

I love that these beds are compact so they fit well in my kid's small room with still a little bit of play area. I like that the ladder hugs the beds so it doesn't take up any extra space. I love that I can split up the beds for when the time comes. They were fairly easy to put together. I HATE that though we were incredibly careful while assembling there were still some marks/cracks in the wood boards. See photos.

Nice/Decent buy

While the wooden frame itself is quite sturdy and the wood looks good and gives my son's room that wood smell, the pine slats that were included were of very low quality.  They have too much bend in them and are very knotty.  In fact, one slat broke the very first night my son slept on it, right where a large 3-inch knot appeared in the center of the wood.  I took a trip to Home Depot and bought some basic wood slats, which were a whole inch wider and much better wood quality (although I did have to saw a bit off the end), replaced the broken slat and placed three more in between the existing slats.  So far, no more broken slats.  Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase, just be aware that more construction may be required.

Cross slates are too weak, they bend and will break in no time. Have to spend more time and money on parts from Lowes or Home Depot. If I get 5 years out of it I'll be well pleased. I'll be satisfied for 3 though. How long will it last? My guess is periodically I'll have to reinforce various areas since I ALREADY have to do this and haven't used it yet because as stated, cross members that hold mattress are already bending and my son is only about 140 lbs. Supposed to hold 250 ?? Not even man. And also some screws just do NOT go in all the way and strip easily

Meh. It is what it is. Not horrible but not great
