This is our go to for our bacon cravings. We find it's awesome cooked in the oven on a wire rack over a baking sheet. It gets so crispy and is truly amazing. Sunday brunch, for us who choose not to eat pork, is saved!!

I recently switched over from a turkey bacon product that stopped appealing to me.  I purchased this product 3 times now and I am hooked.  The chicken bacon is very tasty and I can cook it the way I like it - crispy.  I hope there is never a change to "improve" this product because it is perfect just the way it is.  Now I am encouraged to try the other Maple Lodge products.

WOW I love this product

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of this product at first--on the package, it warns you to not overcook it. I figured this meant that it wasn't meant to crisp up like regular bacon, and honestly, I found the taste in this semi-cooked state to be... not good. I typically cook real bacon until it has some browning but is reasonably soft/chewy. Well, I accidentally left it on the stove for another minute the other day, and it crisped up perfectly. The taste was completely different, and surprisingly similar to real bacon, except obviously much healthier and without the shrinkage due to its leanness. I immediately bought two more packages of it and it's my go-to breakfast meat now. I can't believe how good this stuff is!

Best Chicken Bacon in the World

This chicken bacon tastes great - better than a competitor's turkey bacon. The downside is the packaging: it is not resealable, so plan to eat the whole package or use a large size ziplock bag to store it. This is an inconvenience that makes me prefer the competition, not because it's a better product, but because it's more conveniently packaged.

Packaging Subpar

I bought this item last weekend and I love...do not cook too much otherwise it becomes a dry but I like it when ca crunch a little..must see which cooking you prefer, better than another brand already bought.

Chicken bacon

This is more expensive than "house brand" bacon, but cooks better/easier and tastes better. Also, it doesn't shrink down which is a big plus. Usually replaces bacon in my shopping list - I buy lots when it is on sale.
Fifth star withheld because, as someone else pointed out it is NOT a resealable package. So a BIG ziploc bag is needed if you don't cook it all at once.
ML Farms need to make writing a review less onerous ...

Good product, especially for KETO

Our family loves this bacon.  Far fewer calories than pork bacon and adds a nice saltiness and texture to our sandwiches.  We also eat it rolled up with cream cheese.
My daughter started cooking it herself in a pan on the stove when she was about ten, and she still considers that her kitchen duty!  Easy to use, lasts a long time in the fridge.

Great alternative to pork

Visually: very obvious fat plates - cooking time much more than 2-4min. For me 8 to 10 otherwise fat bursts everywhere - if you want to eliminate fat you get a hard and dry bacon - always very salty - I thought it would replace pork bacon but I find no advantage.

Chicken "maybe" better than pork? - What?

I bought this product yesterday and made it today for breakfast. There were pieces of Cartledge in almost every piece of bacon. Grossed my family out.
