My family and I eat kosher so we can't have regular bacon. I find this chicken bacon to have more flavour than the turkey options. The texture is also less rubbery than I find turkey can sometimes feel like, even though it doesn't get quite as crispy as beef bacon. Overall a good choice if you're not able to have pork or if you just want more protein in your bacon than the regular stuff contains.

Great Pork Alternative

This is our go to for our bacon cravings. We find it's awesome cooked in the oven on a wire rack over a baking sheet. It gets so crispy and is truly amazing. Sunday brunch, for us who choose not to eat pork, is saved!!

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of this product at first--on the package, it warns you to not overcook it. I figured this meant that it wasn't meant to crisp up like regular bacon, and honestly, I found the taste in this semi-cooked state to be... not good. I typically cook real bacon until it has some browning but is reasonably soft/chewy. Well, I accidentally left it on the stove for another minute the other day, and it crisped up perfectly. The taste was completely different, and surprisingly similar to real bacon, except obviously much healthier and without the shrinkage due to its leanness. I immediately bought two more packages of it and it's my go-to breakfast meat now. I can't believe how good this stuff is!

Make sure you crisp it up!

This chicken bacon tastes great - better than a competitor's turkey bacon. The downside is the packaging: it is not resealable, so plan to eat the whole package or use a large size ziplock bag to store it. This is an inconvenience that makes me prefer the competition, not because it's a better product, but because it's more conveniently packaged.

Packaging Subpar

It tastes good uncooked as well as fried/baked. It is pricy for what it is approaching or exceeding the cost of actual bacon

I like it

This is more expensive than "house brand" bacon, but cooks better/easier and tastes better. Also, it doesn't shrink down which is a big plus. Usually replaces bacon in my shopping list - I buy lots when it is on sale.
Fifth star withheld because, as someone else pointed out it is NOT a resealable package. So a BIG ziploc bag is needed if you don't cook it all at once.

Good product, especially for KETO

Our family loves this bacon.  Far fewer calories than pork bacon and adds a nice saltiness and texture to our sandwiches.  We also eat it rolled up with cream cheese.
My daughter started cooking it herself in a pan on the stove when she was about ten, and she still considers that her kitchen duty!  Easy to use, lasts a long time in the fridge.

Great alternative to pork

I bought this item last weekend and I love...do not cook too much otherwise it becomes a dry but I like it when ca crunch a little..must see which cooking you prefer, better than another brand already bought.

Chicken bacon

The meat was so stinky and slimy yuckkkkkkkk it was for my 6 year old daughter imagine she ate it and I didn't notice we would be sick

Great idea but it was far too salty and the taste wasn't gkod.  Halal usually is good.  I'll try washing excess salt.
