Performance on a budget

It doesn't need batteries. It needs regular recalibration. It gives a reasonably accurate weight. If budget is your constraint, this is your scale. It is limited to 130kg/283lb. So if you are heavier than that, this is not sufficient.

Affordable, Adequate Scale

It's a nice looking scale. I don't mind that it measures in kilograms, since I live in Canada and should be using metric anyway. What bothers me are two things:

1. I have to reset it to 0 after every use.
2. If I weigh myself three times in a row in the span of a minute, I can get three different weights.

It does the job, but it's not perfect.

Scale in kgs and not lbs with no option to convert. Also not that accurate compared to other mechanical scales.

[Employee of walmartcanada] horrible, each time you use it you have re-adjust to zero and if you move ever so slightly you loose or gain 10 kg. Not dependable at all. I have only had it for a couple of months.

can't make up it's mind

Bought this less than a month ago and it's completely broken and doesn't give an accurate reading at all. Needed to recalibrate after every use including on my 10kg child (if that's what he really weighs...). It's also in kg with no lbs written on the reading. Wasn't worth it and because it was bought online can't return. Find a better one anywhere else.

Not worth it

You have to calibrate it back to zéro every time, and everytime used it gives a différent weight.  I got on and off ten times in succession, and every time was a different reading. If I bent closer to look at dial, the weight would change. Within  5 minutes my weight varied between 72, 74, 75, and 80 kg. I'm returning it to the store.
