Can be vibrant and even, but may also appear dull or off.

For so long I purchased the medium ground beef in the rolled package.  As it got more expensive I started buying it on the 3 lb package and separating and freezing it. It costs less and is much fresher than the rolls and is now the only way I buy it.

Great quality

I usually buy the medium ground beef, and save the rendered fat, so that I can cook with it later, super trick. With prices going up, this is a great addition to a student budget.

Great for Student Budget.

This is medium ground beef, the one you want to be eating if you like flavour and health, sucka.  It's the best and for some reason it's cheaper (than lean) at some places and more expensive at others.  Today it was cheaper and still tasted great.

I grabbed the ground beef when its in the flyer , its so expensive,  is my main issue a little over 2 pounds per pkg .

Lean ground beef the best one that Walmart sell. Dont bother with the others sausage packed type this was much nicer not watery.

Walmart has great quality Canadian beef and i really appreciate that. I don't like Mexican or Australian beef. That some of the other stores in town are selling and it's hard to find Canadian beef in these other stores
and I don't agree with that. Buy Canadian

This product was full of water!
It's expensive enough without buying water.
It wasn't oil. Just water.

Not happy

I was not very satisfied with this purchase. The ground beef I received did not look very fresh — the colour was dull and unappetizing. In addition, the expiry date was extremely close, which made me feel that this product was delivered mainly to clear old stock rather than to ensure quality for customers. I expected fresher meat with a longer shelf life when ordering online.

Near Expiry and Unfresh Look

I am a Born Albertan , this has to be the worst excuse for ground beef I have ever seen , I did not taste it , the texture was like wet felt , thick pasty and a HUGE amount of these little thread fibre stuff with little bits here and there of bright almost florescent red rubbery stuff .
I highly recommend  DO NOT BUY

Not even dog food !!!!

First time trying a beef that wasn't lean or extra lean.  Only because it was onsale.  Did not like the taste at all. If it makes sense tasted meaty..
