This hamburger never fails us. The medium blend of fat vs meat is perfect. We have bought this time and time again and it always is the same. We usually purchase this with an extra lean and do 2 medium with 1 extra lean and it is a great mix. Burgers shrinkage is ver minimal.

Convenient

This is a decent quality ground beef, but it isn't always the most fresh choice.  It is definitely budget friendly and one package will make four standard-sized hamburgers.  The lean version doesn't have a high enough fat content for decent burgers, but the medium is the perfect ratio for a juicy burger.  It also works well for pastas, and for homemade meatballs.  The meat does have a slight odor initially due to the vacuum sealed tube, but it dissipates shortly after opening.

Decent budget friendly ground beef.

I didn't realise it would be such a small tube because I thought it was the same size tube as I had previously (from some other brand maybe?)

So while I did feel ripped off, this is a very good ground beef. I wanted something that's medium/fatty so I could make a more substantial dish with it. I avoid lean whenever possible.

Opened ground beef for supper and it smelled bad. Best before date was 10th. Opened it up to make supper on the 10th

M ground beef

I was excited to cook with this ground beef but my delivery driver inisisted on leaving all my bags out in the summer sun till he got all of them together to take a picture. 

I understand that is delivery protocol, but I think it ultimately led to food spoilage. I quickly put them in the freezer and tried to thaw one of them and it smelt off and had pale brown spots all over it.

Just wasn't worth the risk, so I pitched all three of them.

I think in general, the stuff is pretty good if you buy it from the store and dont leave it sitting outside or in a hot car during the summer. 

Pro tip for delivery! Place orders in the early morning or evening to prevent food going bad.

Waste of Money and Food :( Didn't get to eat

Before accepting an online order - ensure that there is a labeled best before date….someone in the meat department dropped the ball!

Be aware

I bought two rolls of this. Went to make Shepherds Pie the following day and discovered this meat had an odd smell. I didn't want to risk it and tossed them in the garbage. I only bought 2 of these because the regular packaged ground beef was not available at my time or order.
