A great, lightweight waterproof boot. I hike over a 1,000 miles and year and that is about how long they last. I have not seen a better boot for all around hiking in various landscapes.  If there is a fault, the sole material outlasts the inside cushioning and it is easy to wear them too long without proper padding for the feet.

Spent 2 weeks in Iceland. Best fitting and most comfortable hiking boot I've had. Perfect for what we were doing and put many miles on them while there including a 6-mile hike to the volcano. Awesome Boot.

Bought for trip to Iceland

Love my Moabs. I took them straight to Arches and Canyonlands nation parks and hiked 10+ miles a day for three straight days. Fresh out of the box they fit great. No blisters or sore spots and my feet felt great. I am super happy with them!!!

Amazing for hiking right out of the box

I got these when my doctor made a general suggestion to get Merrels after getting out of the cast and walking boot from a severely broken foot. Felt better than most sneakers, Birkenstock's, Hokas I tried on, or barefooted on the injured foot. I never considered wearing hiking boots as an everyday shoe but these changed my mind, and I look forward to putting them on.  Very comfy, especially on the non injured foot.

I wear them everyday

I used it for about two years before it finally got a tear. Used it in Iceland, Philippines, National Parks along the east coast, Midwest and the west coast and it is definitely one of the best hiking boots I have ever used. The fact that it is light weight, water proof , and very durable. I will definitely keep buying this same shoes.

Best shoes out there

Very comfortable and waterproof. Highly recommend the Gore-Tex version of this shoe. Good for hiking or working around the farm

Hiked two days in Moab, Utah, 10 miles each day as my first time wearing them. They were comfy and got great traction. Would recommend to a friend

Great Boot so far

I love this boot. I've been hiking in them for several months and they're very comfortable. After hiking through creeks my feet are bone dry.

Great Boot

Absolutely love my Moab 2 Gore-Tex boots!  They have just the right balance of support and flexibility.  Other brands that I've tried have one or the other, but Merrell got it right with the Moab 2.

Awesome hikers!

Great I wear them to work every day.. I do body work on cars so I'm alway walking bending.. I love them . I'm always using water and in the dirt and they work well and hold up great

My Merrill's

I got my first pair of Merrells in 2009 and were/are the best boots I've ever had. They were the Outland Mids. I eventually got another similar pair 5 years later, they weren't as good but I liked them.  Finally figured I would spend a bit more as I am an avid hiker and they are terrible- the Moab Mid 2 gore-tex.  They fit so loose and wide and the insoles are HORRIBLE compared to my original pair which I finally did a side by side test with this past weekend.  I had planned to wear these on a big hike I'm about to do which is a month long but now I am scrambling last minute with whether to give merrell and other shot or try something else.  Sadly, merrell isn't merrell anymore, they're the big Wolverine conglomerate. RIP merrell
