I was very nervous to install it because I thought I'd have to remove my window screen/ cut a hole in it, but this thing was so incredibly easy to install. No need to remove screens- it just slides into the window tracks super easy regardless if your window is a vertical or horizontal sliding window. The install kit is adjustable so it works with all sizes of windows. The fact that it's portable is nice because during the colder months you can just remove it and wheel it out of the way. The unit itself is fairly small and sleek looking- not a big eyesore. The air it produces is nice and cool and it shows the temperature on the screen. The only downside is it's pretty noisy, so not great if you are trying to work from home next to it, but to put it in a bedroom is nice. I typically sleep with a white noise machine and this now fulfills that purpose- it's great!

The size and shape is perfect for a bedroom or a kitchen/living room. I would say you need two to cover both a living room and kitchen. I love the shape and size as it's easy to find room for The LED screen is easy to read and convenient. The remote control offers several settings, including comfort sense, timer and sleep mode to optimize energy usage.

Convenient AC for small to medium size rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow ! This air conditioner can handle the Texas heat ! It is easy to move and install , but my favorite feature is the dehumidifier. My last unit left water all over the ground and this one doesn't do that . It's also super powerful and works super fast . Works great !

Portable air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a small house in Texas with no central air conditioning, this is a MUST have air conditioner! It is super powerful and amazingly cold! Easily sets up, easy to use and so convenient. I am able to easily move the ac from one room to another without help. I love the humidifier setting also! The drip pan is easy to remove and dump when needed. It comes with a remote that has an LED screen and also controls on the top of the machine making it really accessible, even at night to turn up or down without moving from bed. Overall, the Midea portable air conditioner works really well and is super convenient and easy to use.

It works great doesn't take up to much room it does have to be drained but it takes a long time to actually be full.

Midea portable air conditioner

With the fuel prices being so high, we bought this for in the semi truck to be powered by a Honda generator.  So far so good! The truck is about 80 sq ft ( roughly 6.5' w x11.5 long x 9' or so high inside) and it's currently 28c outside and I'm parked in the direct sunlight on an asphalt parking lot with a truck on each side idling ( keep in mind the transmission, engines etc are at about 180-210f whist running) and the interior is more than comfortable considering these things have less than adequate insulation. So I would imagine this little machine would do even more fantastic inside a house! I only gave it 4 stars because This is only the 2nd day I've used it lol.  Well worth it so far !!

This worked great for about a month. Now it's leaking. I have drained it, regularly clean the removable filter, and took the whole thing apart to clean the internal filter. It's is still leaking. I had to put it on a shoe rack secondary to my wood floor being ruined. I have contacted the company via live chat 3 times and told someone would get back to me. No one has. I have emailed customer service twice regarding the matter. No response. At this point I don't want to trouble shoot, I want a refund. This is bad business.
