I have central air but it really doesn't work as well as I'd like and it jacks up my electricity like crazy, while I don't even get my money's worth. I put this air unit in my bedroom because that's were I spend most of my time and I need it COLD to sleep! And now I can just keep my central off or on a higher auto temp and just use this awesome thing. It goes down to 62 F and if I choose to have it that low it still uses less energy than my central unit. It even has an energy saver feature. It has a ton of options to customize how you want your air for your most comfortable fit. And it will definitely cool down a larger room because if I leave my bedroom door open it keeps my living room comfortable too. My only complaint is the instruction manual could be clearer. I figured most of it out but I did have to go to YouTube to understand the rest. Also you will need a drill to anker part of the unit and a lock piece to the window. I do really love this air conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Louisiana so yes it nice and hot . So I hooked up this Midea window unit in my hall window. I have to say I am very impressed. It has kept the whole front end of my mobile home nice and comfortable. I even had to raise the temperature some because it can get to cold. I love the fact it's energy saving and has a temperature setting. So it kicks on and off on its own. I have also used the timer so when I know I'm on my way home I have a nice and cool house. I am loving it and would highly recommend it. On one last note it is the easiest device to operate because it is all presented very clearly.

Ice cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not sure what to think of this product as it was a name I had not heard of before. It fit perfectly in the window . Rewind the instructions were very helpful when putting the sides on and how to put it in the window. I used this in a window in the bonus room that sits over the garage which we use as our girls bedroom. The room can get pretty warm in the summer and this ac cooled it perfectly. I would definitely recommend for a small room. The air comes out strong and you can adjust the temperature.The unit it very quiet which is a plus. The remote works great.

I am really impressed by the performance of this little machine. I love that it has a remote with comfort sense so the temperature will adjust based on the location of the remote. I also like that the remote has a display on it so you can see what you have selected. Energy save mode is important to me so I can conserve energy to lower my bill. This has no problem cooling my small room adequately so I can feel comfortable. Installing was pretty easy with two people. If you are needing to cool a small space under 250sq ft, I suggest you try out this little unit. The remote is awesome and it has three speeds and three modes plus a timer!

Extremely easy to install in my window. I could have done it myself, even though my husband did help me. Gets my bedroom super cold, just like I like it. The only downside is that it only goes down to 62 degrees and it kicks on and off.. to hold the temperature steady. I was used to an air conditioner that stayed on constantly. Super quiet. Not loud at all. My metal fan is louder than the air conditioner. The remote is a extra comfort. I don't have to get up to change the settings.

Super quiet. Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Midea 6000 BTU ComfortSense Window Air Conditioner is powerful and sleek. It was easy to install only after looking up a YouTube video as the written instructions were a bit confusing. (I couldn't figure out what a sash was and it says to refer to table 1 -- but there are no tables. Everything is labeled as figures. An internet search told me what a sash was.) Be sure to note that if you don't have a wooden window, you will need to pre-drill some holes in the window. I thought I could do this all myself, but I was able to put it in my adult son's bedroom window with his assistance as it was a bit heavy and I feared dropping it out of the 2-story window. I am using it in a bedroom that is on the furthest side of the house, which gets the most sun and doesn't have the same normal cooling power from our 2 central AC units. This unit is keeping the room nice and cold. The remote is extremely convenient and allows for ease of setting changes from anywhere in the room. My only complaint is that upon opening the box, some styrofoam was broken in transit and there was slight damage to the metal coils on the back. It doesn't appear to affect its operation or cooling. The manual did come with multiple language options which could be helpful. I would purchase one of these for my son's game room where the technology seems to increase the heat in the room. I received the Midea 6000 BTU ComfortSense Window Air Conditioner for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

A Sleek Powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a medium size room that has 4 desktop computers. During the winter it's fine but any other season it gets hot quickly. I love that this isn't a large bulky unit. However you will still need a second pair of hands to make installation easier. Not a hard install, but the side panels could be higher quality. My favorite part is the remote and timer feature, I like to set it so that when we do go in the room it's already cooled down. As far as noise, it's about what you'd expect from a window ac unit. Not as loud as some I've had but I believe that due to it being smaller.

Great for computer rooms

Midea Omni Max 12K BTU air conditioner - Do not buy
I bought the Midea Omni Max 12K BTU July 18,2023 and used it 1.5 months. 2nd year used it 2 months. 3rd year it would not generate cold air. So, for $550.00 I got 3.5months usage.  Do not buy this as it's not a quality product.  Even though it only has a 1 year warranty I called “customer service” anyway.  I was pleasantly surprised when she told me to reinstall the unit and they would troubleshoot and if not successful, they would send a technician. She previously asked when it was bought. I removed my new AC unit, lugged this heavy unit back and reinstalled the unit. When I called back Medea Omni Max “customer service” said they couldn't help me. So that meant I had to remove the crappy Midea Omni Max and re-install my new one again. The Midea Omni Max is a terrible product and so is the “customer service”.  Avoid this company.
