As per usual with these types of assemblies, only hand tighten everything until the very end.  I noticed other reviewers having issues that are likely tied to this.  It does not say to do this in the instructions but it makes the job go much faster and easier.  I assembled without anyone else helping but it was a little tricky at one stage.  Grandkids love the bet and it created a place for me to declutter the room by moving furniture, printers, etc under the bed.  Perfect for what I was trying to accomplish.

This loft bed was exactly what I needed I have two crazy sleepers and the top rails are really tall so it was perfect. I put a twin mattress on the floor so that my 2 year old wont fall off the bed and hurt herself. The instructions were super easy and took me and another adult an hour to build. 
Now I can sleep relaxed knowing that both of my girls are not going to fall off the bed and get injured.

I ordered this for my 5 year old and I think the frame is sturdy, good quality metal. It was easy to install. It's tall enough where you can wake up your child from bed and carry them out or put them in. I LOVE the fact I can really save space in the bedroom and use the bottom to store my 5 year olds toys and use it as a little nook area for him! 
I would definitely recommend it if you are trying to save yourself space! I love it

Great quality! Space saver

This bed is so cute!  The instructions to assemble it were super clear and easy to follow. The screws and hardware needed were organized and easy to find. I was able to assemble most of it on my own, and could have done it all, but it is easier and faster with two people. My son loves it and our extra large dog crate fits underneath it very well. Makes his super small room feel bigger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bed for my 10 year old son who said he wanted his room to be cooler. Ok.
 So I took apart his old boring bed and I started putting this DJP Junior loft bed together. I got to step 2 when I realized that this was absolutely not a one person job. My husband gladly jumped in to help and within an hour, we were finished. The pieces were all labeled well, as were the screws and connector pieces. The directions were pretty easy to understand. The biggest thing is DON'T TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH until the end. If you do that (which we did)... the pieces won't fit together correctly. If the screws are looser, it works well. Then tighten at the end. 
My son absolutely loves his new bed. We just moved his mattress up about 3 feet and he feels like he is on top of the world. The section below has become his “Boy Cave”. His little chair can fit well and I'm going to get a clip on lamp, so he can read or use his tablet. Fun bed!!!

Great bed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this DHP Miles Junior Loft Bed, Metal Frame from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to use and Review. I really like this Loft Bed. My son is sure this is the coolest bed ever. He loves the 3 foot clearance under this bed. Toys are easily stored there. The built in ladder is solid easy to grab for a short climb. This comes packed perfectly in its shipping box. It is heavy so have help. The rails are a very nice safety feature This is very nice looking 
bed. This Loft bed goes together pretty easy. Just follow the directions in order step by step. My wife and I had it complete in about 1.25 hours l. No snags at all. This Loft. Is sturdy and strong .We do recommend this DHP Miles Junior Loft Bed Metal . Thank You for reading this review.

Great Bed Frame

Easy to put together. My 10 year old and I built it together in about an hour. She's thrilled with her new hang out space below. Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instruction manual recommends 2 people for set up, but it is possible to do it by yourself. It involved a lot of turning and tightening with a hex wrench, which was provided. Overall, set up was easy and even enjoyable but it does take time. The frame is light so you can move it easily, but definitely set it up in the designated room. While building it up, we saw how secure it was with the different bars and attachments right under the mattress. The ladder was fine and the guardrails are great. It does not shake or squeak much which shows that is sturdy. It's a well thought out product.

The design is simple and we got the color black, which worked well for our style. The height of the loft is a bit tricky. It is meant to be for younger kids, which makes it great for safety but not so great for maximizing space. Ideally, we would have wanted to put a dresser or some storage things under, but that did not work out. Another option would be to use it as a play area or reading nook, just to have to get creative with the space. This loft fits a twin mattress that should be less than 6 inches. When finally set up, we were surprised to see that this twin loft took up a lot more room than a toddler bed and it took some getting used to. Provided a picture of the loft with a toddler bed on the bottom for comparison.

Simple and Safe Loft for Kids

So i thought that this was going to turn out to be an easy put together but yet... i have run into a problem at the begining. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS !!!! Who doesn't send how to put it together with their items ? So that was the first problem. The second problem is you have to spend so much time googling how in the crap to put it together, then you got to get it together and make sure that it is right. So if you are going to buy this loft bed. Order the instructions before it comes so you have everything you need.
