Works really well. 2 amps from this pack takes my XR from 20 back to 70 to 80 battery. The case is nice quality. Soft and grippy and imo isn't very heavy. The built in wireless charger is nice but it gets a little warm. At home, I remove the case to charge like Apple recommends. You can lay the phone in the case partially and it will still charge the phone while letting air underneath to help with cooling 👍🏼 I've noticed it charging at over 7 watts and may charge faster with more powerful charger. For $20, it's nice product

This is about my 10th Mophie and the 1st one to change the "charger head".  Wish it was the same as it used to be and also that it charged the phone and the charger at the same time like it used to

Mophie for iPhone XR

Hey, I like it and glad to have it.  It does seem to be quite sensitive to making its charging connection to the charging base/disk.  I love that Mophie has adopted this sort of non-plug-in charing technology w/o having to remove the Mophie from the iPhone but sometimes I put it on the base all night long and it hasn't engaged so I didn't get charged. Just seems tweaky/sensitive.  Just saying.

I've always appreciated the Juice Pack

I was surprised to find my mophie full but my phone almost drained after a night with the mophie plugged in to recharge. My previous one always charged the phone first automatically, then topped off the case. What I figured out was that I have to tell the case to charge the phone by pushing the button on the back after I plug it in for the night to have them both full in the morning.
It is true that this case doesn't hold as much juice as my previous battery pack from another mfr, but I have been tracking my usage and I don't really need more than this. I also appreciate that it's lighter, slimmer, and certainly prettier than that one. Overall a solid four stars.

Doesn't charge phone first when recharging

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, enjoying the red juice pack so far. I find I have to position case precisely on the charging pad otherwise it will not charge.

Great Design

In my experience, I'm lucky if it provides a 30-35% charge for my iPhone XR, even if I've ensure the Mophie has been charged for several hours prior to use. That compares to a roughly 80% charge for previous Mophie's I've owned with earlier iPhone models. Not what I expected from Mophie.

Ease of use marred by mediocre battery capacity

This is my third juice pack charging case. I am happy with the extra charging ability with this case,  however I am not happy that it did not work with my previous base chargers and this case is heavier.

love the extra charge

I was expecting this Mophie case to have as much battery life as my previous Mophie cases. I have been a fan for years. When I looked at reviews it said it is supposed to top off your phone until you are able to recharge your phone but I didn't look at them until after I started using my case. I do a lot of camping and this case no longer meets my needs.  What happened to a case that would charge 100%?

Disappointed

I have bought a many mophie juice packs over the years, and the current XR version, is very disappointing. The current recharge is less than half of the iPhone battery. I'm used to a full charge and then some. The wireless charge is convenient, but the price is not worth it, for the battery backup.
Just my opinion.

Not a big charge

First tried the stream charging base that worked poorly with my first Qi battery XR case. Thought using a matching Mophie case would improve reliability, wrong. Took three attempts for case to charge fully and properly. Had to remove Mophie charging plate in order to recharge. The battery case is very poor at holding a full charge for more than two hours. The base eventually fell apart due to poor adhesive.
