[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very economical burr grinder. Firstly, it's a burr grinder and not a blade one which is great. The beans go into the top hopper and the end product is available in the bottom cup. Both the containers are transparent providing visual queue of its operations. The knob for grain size provide 18 different settings which is very helpful depending upon your coffee maker. I use the keurig pod so I used the fine setting. The other knob on the machine provides easy selection for qty. It is defined by amount of cups meaning if I select 1 cup, it grinds beans enough to make 1 cup of coffee. This is very handy because I don't have to calculate and convert the number of cups to Oz or so. This machine is very easy to load and operate. the last process of removing the ground beans into the coffee maker could pose some challenges at times, especially if you are in hurry. Because it grinds perfect qty of beans and the grounds tend to stick to the container. I created a mess, a couple if times while transferring the grounds to the keurig pod. But I think it depends more on the dexterity of the user. Overall a very nice burr grinder that is a definite recommendation.

There does seem to be a little "powder" mixed in with the grind, but for the most part, is a consistent grind to your selection. Noise level is about as expected. Love how many beans it can hold.

Great product

Works great.  When you turn the bean holder to lock, twist it more til it clicks. The machine won't start unless it is clicked in.  We thought it wasn't working til it clicked to lock. Maybe the instructions could indicate this.

Bigger than what I need but great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MR. Coffee - Mr. Coffee 18 Cup Automatic Burr Grinder gets the job done. It grinds the beans well, but the hole from the burr tends to get clogged with fine dust and is hard to clean. It is durable and well made. It is very loud while using it though, so make sure no one is sleeping when you grind your beans!

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited I ran out and bought coffee beans and was ready to go.  First time trying did not work at all. Followed instructions exactly. I put in Locked position and pushed to start, nothing. I tried a different outlets and less coffee beans. Again I pushed button to start nothing☹️. So disappointed

Disappointed , didn't work

I got this grinder as a Christmas gift to myself. I was so excited because I drink a lot of coffee. It worked the first few times and then suddenly stopped working. I've had the coffee grinder less than a month and nothing anymore. I have cleaned in completely, checked for jams, checked outlets, everything and I can't get it to work again. I'm very upset and disappointed with the machine. I am unable to return it and I am simply frustrated.

The grind adjustment knob is not marked well to see which position is in. The ground bean container , if you don't push it downwards as you slid it it it won't engage properly to start the grind. Also the wall of the ground beans will buildup with a chunk of powder. After about six months of use, now it won't automatically stop if you go past the 2 serving setting. Now the grind adjustment knob won't go the the fine ground setting without making some unusual popping noises and not grinding fine either. I don't recommend this grinder. Spend a little more and buy a better one.
