It's a fun, but at times tricky milestone to figure out-you're constantly questioning whether food is too hot, too cold, or just right. Munchkin's innovative white hot safety spoons can help make those first feedings easier to swallow for both of you. Simply dip the tips of the spoons in heated pureed baby foods to check if it's too warm. If the tip turns white, the food is too hot for baby to eat. Wait for it to cool, dip again, and if the tip is no longer white-voila. You can feed your little one without worrying about a thing.

These are great!! They are nice and narrow and thin, so you can get some nice spoonfuls in with good mouth clearance (my last spoons- 2 different kinds) were thicker and too stiffer- harder for baby to use. But these are much better!!

Also the length makes it easier to feed too. My baby has an easier time using these while learning to feed himself. Also, if he gets the spoon flipped around, the back end holds onto oatmeal and yogurt pretty well too, so he still gets something and gets less discouraged if I'm not right there to help the whole time. 

The color does change to white if it's too hot, but I don't really depend on that. I find it's alright if there's a little white on the spoon- no white and I don't think the foods hot enough. In my opinion anyway. I do like that it tells you if it's way too hot off the bat though. I know to add some cold if the spoon is straight white.

The white hot feature is excellent for initially testing the heat of the food. The shape of the spoon is the only one my baby likes, without getting food all over his face.

I can't really say much, as they were gifts  for babies that haven't been used yet. I know they are a good product, as I have seen them used before. That is why I purchased them.

I bought these for my 5 months daughter. She is not ready to use them yet, but I like its soft grip, so decided to keep one for myself for desirt. The spoon tip does turn white if in contact with hot food for a few seconds.
Overall, it is a good spoon with helpful feature.

Poor quality

I bought these spoons on May 27th. I never use the same spoon twice. How come they already have scratches, when my baby doesn’t have teeth yet? I am disappointed and I fear I will have to replace them so quickly. In addition, the food that is embedded in the heart of the sleeve...
