He enjoys giving the monkey a ride around the track - the monkey was a cute addition. We purchased the Percy and James Railway Pals trains to go along with this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my just turned 2 year old. He loves cars and trains and so i knew he would love this set. Weve had it about a week and it is one of his most played with toys. He loves to move the monkey around from the tree top to the train. But not only does my 2 year old love it, so do my 5 year old twins. The 3 of them have played together with this set almost everyday this week. One of my 5 year olds will usually narrate a story about where the train is going while my 2 year old drives it around the track. My other 5 year old loves to control the arm that goes up and down. Great toy! This will be added to my list of go-to gifts for birthdays and holidays.

This track stays together nicely without coming apart during play. The cart is easy to put on and take off the train so that my 2 year old could do it by himself. This is a great size because you can easily play by yourself but there's enough space to play with a couple friends.

Both of my girls enjoy playing with Thomas and the monkey on this track. The only thing I would recommend would be some way to store the tracks once they are taken apart. Not everything fits back into the box.

I selected this product with my 1.5 year old daughter in mind, she loves it as well as her big sister. The first thing I noticed as I was taking the pieces out of the box is the heavy duty plastic that was used , I was impressed. The track is made of a thicker plastic that helps it stay together , even when you pick it up. My daughters favorite part of this toy is the train car, she has put all sorts of different toys in the back and given them a “ride” around the track. We give this toy a thumbs up! I can see this toy being used for a very long time in our house :)

Both my 2 year old and my 4 year old loved building the track together and then playing with the train.  It doesn't take up a lot of space and is one of the toys they reach for over and over.  I'm so glad we have this to keep my kids occupied this summer!

Perfect to hold a kid's interest

My girl has played with it everyday for sometimes an hour at a time, and she always comes back to play with it again. The track was easy to put together, it is alittle tight and the track kinda bows just alittle but its not a problem. It comes with Thomas, a cart, and a monkey. It has a feature for a RR crossing and a little bridge that comes up and down. It really is a cute little toy, I even enjoy playing with the kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loves this train set, he sits right in the middle and plays. The monkey included is super cute as well as thomas with his cart. The parts are easy to put together, are simple but cute and stay together pretty well. The track and all parts are sturdy and there seems to be no choking hazards which is great for little ones. If I could change one thing it would be the small drive through piece as it does not stay together as well as the rest of the set so it is always being put back on. Other than that my son loves his new Thomas set.

This was her first train and it kept her attention for hours. The pieces were big enough for her little hands to grip and slide up and down the tracks. The track itself is very sturdy and doesnt come apart easily which is great since my daughter can be a little rough. The monkey and Thomas were her favorite pieces to play with. Set-up was quick and so easy, every piece of the track is labeled. My only suggestion would be to add sound to the pieces for more interactive play. I will definitely be looking to purchase additional Thomas playsets!
