The remote works through the house wall (brick) and makes it really convenient to turn on evening garden lights. Thumbs up for this one. I purchased this outdoor power strip for my Halloween lights and projectors. The rainy weather did not seem to affect the operation of this unit at all.

I use the dusk to dawn setting for our patio lights and it works as it claims. Closer to the holidays I'll use it for Christmas lights. I love that it has 6 outlets and it's super easy to set up. I didn't use the set timer option, only the dusk to dawn one, but that one is PERFECT! I so far have no cons.

Especially with the holidays coming up myTouchSmart Outdoor Photocell Stake Timer, 6-Grounded Outlets will be used alot. It is a great helper for when you want to put lights up. You won't have to worry about plugging things up in different outlets. Just plug this into your main socket outside and you won't have any issues.

It appears to be well made and I like that it has a photocell. I'd prefer if there was a way to override the photocell and if it had a remote, but this'll work for its limited purpose.

Waiting until Christmas to use
