This is a much better gun than the clip model it replaced.  Don't waste your money on a nerf gun with a clip.  The rotary model works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in this for my 6 year old son who loves Nerf and blasting imaginary zombies every chance he gets! So, he has given his approval, he LOVES it and hasn't put it down! I was surprised at how large this toy is, most of his Nerf type blaster toy weapons are a little smaller, so this would be perfect even through teen years as the images on the box suggest. It does come with enough darts so you won't need to purchase any extras and they shoot out one at a time so they'll be able to get more enjoyment out of it rather than the ones that shoot them all out at once. I usually pick up some extras though as these things do tend to get lost.

The only ‘drawback' if your child will be using this indoors is it is a little loud when it fires the darts but not that bad. I think this would be a huge hit for any child 6+ who enjoys these types of toy weapons and would make a really great gift. The blaster and trigger itself are easily handled by a child in that age range so no help should be required.

This is HUGE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old son loves his nerf guns but this is the best so far. Its easy to use and shoots fast and far. I was accidentally hit with it and the darts did not hurt. I was little surprised and also very happy by it. This nerf gun is the hit item among his friends and it made my son the center of attention. I just wish there were more darts...but overall this nerf N-Strike Mega Series RotoFury Blaster is a must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up with toy guns and they were one of my favorite toys as a young boy. Cowboys and Indians, Cops and Robbers, and re-fighting WW2 were common themes in the 1950's. The world has changed a lot since the era of replica toy guns. In our current urban environment and culture you would be putting a child's life in danger by letting them play with the guns I grew up with.

The Nerf N-Strike Mega Series RotoFury Blaster is an unmistakable toy that is bright red with a slightly over-sized revolving chamber filled with big and soft red bullets. The soft round tips of these projectiles should be safe no matter where they land. The semi-automatic, manually cocked revolving chamber holds up to ten rounds for extended fun and play. The gun's construction is all plastic but feels like it is solid and rugged enough to take a little inevitable abuse. The Nerf RotoFury Blaster also has a decent range that exceeds 50 feet. The gun's accuracy declines with range but is still a lot of fun to shoot.

This was the first toy gun I have given to my five year old son and I was curious to see how he would take to it. We had fun setting up a bunch of his toy action figures and practiced by using them as targets. To be honest, I am now tempted to buy a second Nerf Blaster so that my son and I can share the fun by competing against each other.

Make a Boy's Day with a Nerf Blaster!

My son found this toy at a local grocery store for $10 more.  He wanted to spend his saved allowance on it, but we found it at Walmart for a more reasonable price.  We ordered it online, and had it a week later.  The toy works great, and my son learned a great lesson about patience and saving money.  Thank you, Walmart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son collects Nerf guns and uses them at zombie and apocalyptic live action role play (LARP) events. He was glad to add this to his arsenal. It shoots the larger megadarts using air pump action. The megadarts are very accurate, and he finds it easy to aim and hit his targets with this blaster. The pump action is smooth and easy. It's comfortable to hold and lightweight. It's well made out of sturdy red plastic with black and orange accents.

The only annoying thing is that it's a bit hard to load the last few chambers. The body of the gun blocks access, and one has to use one's fingers to manually force the cylinder to turn and expose the free chambers. Using the pump to rotate the clip will just make the previously loaded darts shoot out.

Well the packaging wasn't lacking it was great , shipping box was four times the size of the nerf gun box. But the nerf gun box was crushed obviously before being put in shipping box & missing darts out of the plastic that was suposed to be glued to the package.
