[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had other well known branded thermometers but hates that they didn't have a back light. When checking your kids temp in the middle of the night while trying to not wake them, it is so important to have a backlight in the digital display. By far my favorite feature of this thermometer. Being able to get an accurate reading from the forehead is great since my kid hates having something in their ear. Plus with a 1 second read time, you don't have to worry if you have a kid that can't sit still.

Non-Contact Thermometer

I love that I don't have to touch my sleeping child and risk waking him up just to check and make sure his fever has gone down. No more struggles to get a kid to hold still to put a thermometer in his ear or run it across his forehead!

Works great

Bought this yesterday because my 2 year old has fever. While a traditional thermometer said 38.0 C this said 37.5. After 1 minute it said 37.3 and after a minute 38. Not reliable at all.
