I needed a gate to put at the top of the basement door to stop our dogs from getting down there but would be easy for me to use. It is fantastic and I love it. Was easy to install, I did it myself, and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this swing gate.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it does what I need it to: keep my little one (9 months) from getting out of sight in the house. It fits fairly easily in all door frames. No trouble so far. Let's see if the handle that is used to lock it will hold...

Solid and functional

It's exactly as I thought it would be. It locks the doorway and safeguards my baby. My baby holds the gate and stands. It's safer for that purpose as well.

Perfect safety

I bought two of these gates. The length of the sliding door is adjustable, but not quite continuous. It has specific slots for the sliding door to close properly with the locking mechanism. If you would like to mount with the screws to a thin wall or drywall, it does not stay for long. The design puts too much weight on the upper screws and the screws may come out after short period of use. If you are not too limited with budget, go with the high quality ones.

It's a ok product

When reading the description it makes it sound like its a swing mount gate and it is not. It swings yes BUT every time you want to swing it you have to bend over and unlock it which to me you might as well just pressure mount it. Really though for the price it dose what we need it to do.

I don't know if it's a lemon but It's kind of hard to close (almost every time)... But well, for the price it's okay I guess

Ok for the price

If you are trying to mount it- watch the youtube video. Instructions are a little confusing.
I put this gate up last night and its kinda hard for me to open let alone my kids (its for the dog). It only closes if its in a groove properly which is quite frustrating because my proper length is right in between. Good enough for the price but like others have said..spend the extra money if you can...
