[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched for quite a while for the ideal price, quality, and color on a thick creamy white shag rug.  Experiencing cheap rugs in person with such a weak “cushion” to them, despite the great reviews, I was nervous to take the leap on this one.  When I received this at my door, first check was the color, which was perfect.  At first I wondered if it was too white for me, and maybe ever so slightly, but no not really. It's a great, creamy, no yellow at all, soft white. Second test was to squeeze it with my fingers.  Yay!  It has cushion!   Very soft feeling, not too cheaply fibrous, and knew it would be just fine under the feet. Because this is under our bed we opted not to get a pad underneath.  Granted, it would feel lovely with a pad, but for us not necessary for the small footprint around the bed.  I'm happy with the feel and so is my doggy!   Very happy with the rug and glad I took the leap of faith at this awesome price!  Now about the smell. Yes, the off-gassing is really bad. We laid it out in our basement rec area for about a week or so before putting it in our bedroom.  We knew it would help to take it outside but never got around to it.  The smell did disappear so not a deal breaker. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great rug, particularly for the price point. When it first arrived I was worried the pile was a little long but I really love it. It's super soft, feels plushy, and obviously it's not a fancy expensive rug, so the extra length in the pile stops any holes or gaps from showing. The color is perfect. Definitely creamer than it looks in the photos, which I was hoping for - I think the photos make it look more beige/brown than it is - but not so white that it's too bright. I'd definitely by this rug again.

I couldn't be more pleased! The rug is not white, white and I am glad. It isn't cream either. Maybe a “soft white”. Not to thin or to thick. Very soft. Just right!

Excellent Choice!

Can't beat this rug for the price.  It is not very soft or cushy - but put a carpet pad underneath and it is fantastic!  We are thrilled with this purchase!

Great rug for the price

Bought this for our nursery. Very plush and soft, love the color. Gave it 3stars because there is a chemical smell I cannot get rid of. We've left it out for over a week and the smell is still there... not sure if they all come like this, haven't had this issue with any other from Rugs USA.

Lovely but smelly

I got what I paid for.  The rug is thin and you can feel the knots. It definitely needs a rug pad (which I purchased). The off-gassing is HORRENDOUS.  Its been 3 weeks and it still smells, but not as strong.  The first week I was not able to be in the same room and it made the entire house (2100 sq ft) smell.  I would not recommend.
