[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful rug. Some say it sheds worse than a dog.... a dog is much smaller so of course the dog sheds less. If you buy a wool rug, you will have shedding. It's not a sign of low quality, it's just a sign it's real sheep. Also, you are not supposed to keep vacuuming the darn thing, it will only damage the wool and make the shedding worse. Vacuum the FLOOR AROUND THE RUG daily to limit the mess, but only vacuum the rug once/twice a month, GENTLY and without the bar on your vacuum cleaner. We have a toddler and a baby and we lay a blanket down so they don't end up covered in wool BUT in a few weeks/months the shedding  will be minimal. Just be patient. It's worth the short time hassle to me, because it's healthy, beautiful and wool is a fantastic material that lasts a long time of you take care of it (air it out on a sunny summer day once a year). I am very happy with the purchase. Don't buy the toxic synthetic rugs on the market. Just do your family a favor and buy a healthy wool rug. This one is awesome.

It is a beautiful patterned rug, and it's decently padded. Have had it for about a month, and I do notice it sheds quite a bit. If I vacuum over it to clean it, the vacuum quickly fills up. Also, I notice the strands of carpet hair on my couches and coffee table, which is definitely from the rug. Not a dealbreaker necessarily for me, but something I would have liked to know before purchasing. Hopefully the shedding goes away.

Nice Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug is high quality and very soft.  It's very neutral and goes with everything in my living room.  Since it's made of wool there is some shedding, but no more than any other wool rug I've owned.  Definitely recommend for updating a space.

Great value

The rug is beautiful and exactly what we expected and wanted. Can't speak too much on the shedding, as we've only had it a few weeks but it's definitely not as disastrous as other reviews made it out to be. It does shed, so maybe it would be in a high traffic area with kids and pets rolling around on it, but for two single adults who are using it for decorative purposes, it's perfect!

Carefully read a lot of reviews for this rug, and they were spot on. Wool is so worth the investment, but in this case, the sale made it that much more worth it. Shedding isn't even that bad… just follow the instructions of not over-vacuuming. Great quality and hope for years to come of good use

Can't go wrong with quality wool

I love the design of this rug!!! My only complaint is how much it sheds (which is why I only gave it 4 stars).. I'm hoping a few more times vacuuming and it will chill out.. other than that, I think it's one of my favorites!! And I'm a rug gal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a soft wool rug, and the only reason I'm giving this rug 4 stars is because it doesn't resemble the photos close enough in terms of color. It's way more yellow in person and I feel like the photos make it look more white or ivory. It doesn't help that everyone puts filters on their photos. I do know that wool rugs/carpeting can end up being pretty yellow, but this rug just leans so yellow that it's not going to work in my space.

Too yellow

The pattern is just as the picture shows. I've wasted a few things, cleaned the area and it  doesn't destroy the appearance.  The only negative I have is that this rug SHEDS MORE THAN A DOG! I've purchased rugs before from this site and never had this issue. If there is something I could do I hope someone tells me. The rug is all over my living room and kitchen. A total nightmare!

BEWARE OF SHEDDING!

The rug itself looks beautiful and is very stylish but the wool sheds like crazy and is itchy! Once unrolling I ran over it lightly with the vacuum and it completely clogged my vacuum with wool from just one light pass over the rug. After giving it a few more days, it continued to shed everywhere so I will be returning.

Moroccan Wool Rug

Such a beautiful rug but after going over it a million times with the vacuum, it won't stop shedding. It's like I have a lab or golden retriever in the house. I bought two of these and although they look nice, I should have paid more for a higher quality rug
