We've only had the rug for about a week, but so far I love it! Like others have said, the vibrance of the colors changes based on how the fibers are laying, but either way the colors are gorgeous. We have a very neutral colored space that we wanted to bring some fun colors into and this was the perfect addition. It's also soft and comfy to walk on.

Super cute for what I wanted it for. The rust and blue is a little more subdued than in pictures but still pretty nonetheless. Also there is a bit of an iridescence to  the rug, not like glittery, just a sheen if you look at it different ways in the room.

I was worried it would be super thick and make the room darker. But it is thinner and it looks durable enough to hold up to two toddlers. The colors are not as dark as I thought they would be which is perfect for my color pallette. I could not be happier with this rug! My only criticism is that the rug came folded. We are based overseas and are shipping it so we needed it rolled. It would have been nice to have the option.

Perfect Addition!

Rust Rug

The rug arrived quickly. I love the look for vintage wool rugs, but don’t love their price. Especially with kids and pets in the house. It is a great alternative to a pricey vintage wool rug. We were looking for a replacement rug for our guest room and this was perfect. The rug is soft, but I’ll eventually buy a rug pad for added thickness.

Great Alternative to Vintage Wool Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loves this rug! We bought the orange color. One item to note is that the color appears lighter in person. The way it’s made, the reddish colors look more pink from one side that the other. We didn’t mind though. Still very happy with our new rug!

Lighter in person

Really happy with this purchase.  It's much softer than I thought it would be.  The colors were a little more muted than I expected, but I bought it knowing that the colors may not be exactly as they appear on the computer screen. Still looked good with my stuff and I get so many compliments!

Good buy!

The rug is not as vibrant as advertised online. Like many other reviews, mine has a darker vs. lighter/washed-out side depending on the orientation of the rug and which direction you're viewing it. The rug has light fibers dispersed throughout, which lightens the entire thing. If this doesn't bother you, then I'd say it's a nice affordable rug. It is very soft and the initial plastic smell and rug crease disappeared after the 2nd day. I have two cats that like to play on it because the fibers give them better grip than the wood floor, and I haven't seen any loose fibers or damage. It hides dirt and hair well if you're a pet owner. Unfortunately, I was envisioning something more vibrant and will be returning it, but if you don't mind a more faded/washed-out look, then I'd say it's an excellent rug for cat owners.

Nice rug for cat owners, but colors are washed out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light brown version is not at all light brown. It’s cream, red and the yellow bits in it are actually very neon orange mixed with bright yellow. A pretty rug but the pictures do not display the colors accurately at all! I even tried to get an accurate picture of the rug and it’s impossible. The camera can’t pick up the colors for some reason.

It was a pretty rug but all of the piping on the sides was pink, which I could not see in the pictures on the website.  All I had to do was open one corner of the package and I new I didn’t want to look at a pink rug. We sent it back and the charge to return it was expensive, so lesson learned.

Pink Rug

I returned this rug. Everything other reviewers had to say is true about washed out colors, fake-looking sheen, and Rugs USA images that misrepresent the product.
This is a pastel rug. If you’re looking for something with saturated rust and deep blue colors, go elsewhere.

Rust? Not even close!
