I ordered two large area rugs.  One arrived with bright pink staining (you could see it inside the clear packaging) before it was opened that I was not able to remove from the rug. I contacted Rugs USA, and they replaced the rug free of charge and picked up the flawed rug.  

Now I have two beautiful cream colored area rugs.  There is some shedding, but that is to be expected from a natural rug.  Thank you for the excellent customer service and making it right - easily.

Looks great in my parlor. Wanted a plain rug that I could put underneath my cowhide. This fit the bill and was priced right. Color is very neutral and blended well with everything. A little thicker than I had imagined but even with the rug pad underneath it is not too high.

We've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far it is great. No shedding.

Love the rug!

Great rug! It's well made, thick, perfect Golden medium shade jute, and it doesn't shed!! There was a slight odor for a couple days but it faded. I would recommend this rug. I ordered 6x9 for this room and 8x10 for another bedroom. I prefer the larger size if you have the room

Jute Rug-doesn't shed

This rug is amazing quality.  I thought I was replacing my 8 X 10 pattern rug with the same size, but I ordered the 9 X 12 rug and I'm so pleased that I did.  Our room appears almost doubled in size and is the perfect tone on tone color - not just a solid boring jute rug.  The weave is exceptional and it is the perfect weight and density.  It is also very pleasing to walk on and my husband and I love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug definitely has imperfections. I didn't expect it to be perfect, but there are definitely loose ends and shedding. It also is a bit discolored in some parts (shades of purple?). I probably will have to get rid of this rug in a year or so.

Imperfect

This rug was a little damp and had a smell when I took it out of the packaging and thought nothing of it knowing jute rugs have a smell at first and then fade away. But this rug continues to have s damp wet sour smell to it and I think it must be due to damage or whatever caused it to be wet in the packaging. I have let it sit out for weeks now and it's still bad that I can't even use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with most other negative reviews: the color representation isn't correct... it is very yellow in reality.  The weave isn't well done, and inconsistent, and I've got loose ends already forming after being down a week.  There are large areas of the rug that are just a different color than the other side.  It basically looks like a rug with 4 large stripes.  I can't judge on the shedding yet, because it is shedding a lot but many new rugs do that.  If it wasn't such a hassle I would return this rug, this isn't worth half the price and is completely misrepresented.

Misrepresented and Poor Quality

This rug came wet and so so dirty. I was cringing while I pulled it out of the bag and unrolled it on to my clean floors that were now covered in dirt. The smell was overwhelming, not to mention it was already coming unraveled in a few places. I was excited about this rug since I've been shopping around for a natural rug for a coastal look. It's just terrible!! It went outside immediately. I would return it but it's too much work to return an 8x10 rug. 
I'm wondering if all jute rugs are like this or if I got a bad one. I do not recommend this unless you want dirt everywhere

So disappointed

Not at all what I expected. The rug was supposed to be soft and not shedding. As soon as I took the rug out it shed like crazy with little fibers all over the place. And then as soon as you step on it the fibers stick to your feet and cover your feet with fibers. It gets on anything that will fall on the run, clothes, towels, socks etc. I'm very disappointed because it already came unraveled in lots of spots. The jute material was already unraveling or untying. Very disappointing especially considering the price. Also on a side note,  it was described as soft but it's not soft, it's hard, pokey and anything but soft.
