Perfect Rug, Just not for the Room

I was worried that a jute rug would be rough on my feet but it has a nice soft texture with a homey feel. Rugs USA packaged the rug well and shipped it in a timely fashion. Overall great experience with Rugs USA.

Lovely Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the runner for a long hall way.  The jute is very soft on your bare feet - not at all scratchy like many other rugs of lower quality.  The jute gives off very little fibers.  I would purchase again!

Soft on your feet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The natural muted creamy colors went perfect in living area. I wanted to update my space and give more texture as well as lighten things up. This helped tremendously and going with the larger one 8x10 approx size. Only downfall is lots of vacuuming with a dual vacuum is needed. Just putting it down all kinds of dusty grit fell off it and underneath it. I am a neat freak so we’ve vacuumed the top already 4x in 1 week & 2x underneath. Also the grit got in our vacuum & the bar ended up scuffing our wood floor some so it has to be cleaned after each vacuum of carpet first. For us it being natural materials & NOT smelling like formaldehyde was a winner & worth the vacuuming we’ll have to do more of.

Natural creamy fibers, updated vibe

Using this in a main hallway under a gallery wall- The natural color added interesting “thick texture” and is sound absorbing. Yes it needs a slip resistant rug pad and sheds a bit, we vacuum this area pretty often anyway. Happy with rug and quick shipping.

Chunky jute tasseled runner-natural

My only thing is that I ordered the dark gray and for some reason it has a green tint to it so I am hoping it looks okay once I put couches with it. The picture looks more gray then mine does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have rated this 5 stars if it was not for the very off-putting smell of the rug.  The rug came packaged in a clear plastic bag and once opened produced a very strong musty smell.  The smell has permeated the entire house.  The bag was dry and the rug did not feel wet either.  I’m not sure if this is common with natural jute rugs or not.  Otherwise, the rug looks great!

Unpleasant smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice rug. However the photos online of the “blue” rug are very different from the actual rug. Based on website photos, I expected a more turquoise blue rug. However, the rug is actually a dark blue.

Rug color disparity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this rug, but sadly the dimensions were bigger in person than what they are listed as online. The tassles aren't included in the length but even beyond that, mine still arrived 4 inches longer and 3 inches wider that what it was supposed to be. Not a big deal for most, but I have a small dining room and instead of have a few inches of "wiggle room" it fits almost baseboard to baseboard across the room...

Beautiful! But...bigger than it says online

I love them basically but they are very rustic. I have a small area and two of them are from very different dye lots. I’m going to live with it because they are really cool. They do smell at first, so I aired them out for a couple hours and no more smell.

Very rustic rugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is a higher pile rug than expected, and appears nicer in the pictures than in person in my opinion. I also agree with what another reviewer had said, this rug sheds fibers and constantly have to run a vacuum underneath it.
