Perfect Rug, Just not for the Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the runner for a long hall way.  The jute is very soft on your bare feet - not at all scratchy like many other rugs of lower quality.  The jute gives off very little fibers.  I would purchase again!

Soft on your feet!

I needed a 3 x 5 rug to use under the coffee table in front of my sofa.  This rug exceeded my expectations.  It is thicker and more textured than it appears in the photo, which I'm happy about, and is a beautiful shade of gray-blue.  I don't walk on it, so the texture is not a factor for me, but I can see how a larger rug would be hard to walk on barefoot or in stocking feet.  It is a gorgeous accent in my living room.

Beautiful rug

I’m in love with this rug! It’s beautiful and thick and  looks very high end. Some of the reviews said that it is scratchy and Ruff but I disagree. It is jute so it’s not going to be super plush like a polyester rug. It actually feels really good under my feet.   I did put a thick rug pad underneath to protect my floors and Make it more plush.  I have had it down about a week and it does shed on my dark wood floors. I’m totally fine with that as most rugs shed for the first month or so.  If you were contemplating this rug I say go for it !

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase !

My only thing is that I ordered the dark gray and for some reason it has a green tint to it so I am hoping it looks okay once I put couches with it. The picture looks more gray then mine does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have rated this 5 stars if it was not for the very off-putting smell of the rug.  The rug came packaged in a clear plastic bag and once opened produced a very strong musty smell.  The smell has permeated the entire house.  The bag was dry and the rug did not feel wet either.  I’m not sure if this is common with natural jute rugs or not.  Otherwise, the rug looks great!

Unpleasant smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice rug. However the photos online of the “blue” rug are very different from the actual rug. Based on website photos, I expected a more turquoise blue rug. However, the rug is actually a dark blue.

Rug color disparity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this rug, but sadly the dimensions were bigger in person than what they are listed as online. The tassles aren't included in the length but even beyond that, mine still arrived 4 inches longer and 3 inches wider that what it was supposed to be. Not a big deal for most, but I have a small dining room and instead of have a few inches of "wiggle room" it fits almost baseboard to baseboard across the room...

Beautiful! But...bigger than it says online

I love them basically but they are very rustic. I have a small area and two of them are from very different dye lots. I’m going to live with it because they are really cool. They do smell at first, so I aired them out for a couple hours and no more smell.

Very rustic rugs
