Needed to lighten up the dining room. Dark wood table and dark wood flooring made it feel cold. This area rug added some light and texture which was exactly what we were going for. Didn’t seem to have any smell as other reviews mentioned. Overall great quality and good price.

i bought this for one of my guest bedrooms and i just love how it looks. i thought it would be hard jute but its not. its soft gentle on the feet.

I love this area rug.  It give the room a feel of cozyness. The color is as shown in the picture. When I first unpacked the rug it had a particular smell but it went away right away.  I figured it was because of the raw material being jute-- a natural fiber.  But that was no problem at all.

Great Area Rug!

Ordered the blue and absolutely love it!  it is a very substantial rug and works well under our kitchen table.  It's not super soft under your feet (that wasn't a priority for me), but it's fine even with bare feet.  I think this rug would work well in any high traffic/highly used area/

Love this rug, not rough on your feet and super cute in our space. We live in an RV and got the 6x6 and it works perfect! Really like that RUGS USA offers so many options in this size and I'm never disappointed with their speedy delivery and great customer service.

Great quality and customer service

I purchased this after searching for a low and/or no shedding rug. I'm using this under a dining table. I haven't had a shedding problem...the only time it shed is when I was originally setting it up in my apartment and moving it around. I purchased a rug pad on Amazon, so that might be why. I actually like the way it feels on my feet.

Pretty good rug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vacuum a lot before settling in, I filled up my cyclone dude 3 times before it stopped collecting fuzzy red stuff. 

If you wanna be really excessive, could flip it over and vacuum both sides. Giving a once over with scissors to clip off the more fibrous darker bits might also be in order

Love it

I bought two maui chunky loop jute rugs in the lighter blue colour. They are much lighter in person than they appeared on my computer. These rugs are a classic case of you get what you pay for - they are very inexpensive, but they are terrible quality. I understand jute is a natural fibre (I have had many of them over the years) and there are always imperfections, but this is over the top. There are so many chunks of what looks like dirt throughout both rugs (so I know it's not a one-off) that I'm embarrassed to have it in my house! I've tried vacuuming it, but they are lodged in place.  Save your money for something better quality that you can actually use.

Do not recommend

I gave this rug 2 stars because it was very pretty from a distance. Walking on it was horrible. It literally had twigs and sticks poking out of it. I have a woven jute rug at home that feels nothing like this. We only left it unrolled for an hour before I rolled it back up and requested a return. I wish I had known this before I lost the return money for shipping. Definitely would not recommend.

Not What I Was Hoping For

The rug was very thick and it actually hurt your feet walking on it as it pricked as you walked on it.  The rug smelled so bad like it was in a moldy basement forever.... I was hoping it would air out and it did not and the smell was strong enough it went thru the entire apt...  I literally rolled it back up and threw it in the dumpster as I was not going to pay for shipping .

I have bought jute rugs before from other vendors and this was the first one that I got rid of within a few hours.  Very disappointed
