Needed to lighten up the dining room. Dark wood table and dark wood flooring made it feel cold. This area rug added some light and texture which was exactly what we were going for. Didn’t seem to have any smell as other reviews mentioned. Overall great quality and good price.

i bought this for one of my guest bedrooms and i just love how it looks. i thought it would be hard jute but its not. its soft gentle on the feet.

I love this rug! And it’s very thick, even though the description said .2”

It’s more like 1” thick!

And people talked about it being “dirty” but that’s just the natural jute pieces in there that didn’t quite hold the dye in my opinion. I wouldn’t call it dirty. 

Overall very pleased with it!

Blue Chunky Loop Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug was xactly what was described and pictures and arrived quickly. I am disappointed that only a few weeks in a snag has made a loop loose, but I just flipped it over. We will see how well it cleans.

Exactly what I ordered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thick and pretty, but confirming what others have mentioned - it sheds hairs and dust for weeks,  the color is more yellow than off white, and there are irregularities in the weave and coloring (strangely, mine has a bit of pink running through it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have rated this 5 stars if it was not for the very off-putting smell of the rug.  The rug came packaged in a clear plastic bag and once opened produced a very strong musty smell.  The smell has permeated the entire house.  The bag was dry and the rug did not feel wet either.  I’m not sure if this is common with natural jute rugs or not.  Otherwise, the rug looks great!

Unpleasant smell

Ew. This rug was so so dark, much darker than the site or customer photos could capture. Like cardboard color with orange-y tones. And I know it's described as chunky but this was too chunky, big ole knots. Didn't look right. I thought the fringe would give it a boho look but ended up looking messy. If you want a standard "natural" jute color, this isn't it. Returning it is a hassle but I'm doing it.

Too dark and chunky.

Beautiful rug and great price but not good for homes with kids or pets.  Within 2 days multiple places on the rug were coming apart and loose and we are not even using the area of the home that the rug is in often.  Cannot walk on this rug with any kind of shoes without out it catching onto to shoe are coming loose.

Beautiful but made cheaply

The rug was very thick and it actually hurt your feet walking on it as it pricked as you walked on it.  The rug smelled so bad like it was in a moldy basement forever.... I was hoping it would air out and it did not and the smell was strong enough it went thru the entire apt...  I literally rolled it back up and threw it in the dumpster as I was not going to pay for shipping .

I have bought jute rugs before from other vendors and this was the first one that I got rid of within a few hours.  Very disappointed
